I was reading on NFE, most likely eleaf did not make a data connection to the chip.
Damn it, Pico with ArcticFox is a good package.

Uh, yeah, that would be a problem! Wonder why they went backwards...

Be careful there buddy. Aren't nephrologists the guys who mummified pharaohs in ancient Egypt. Or maybe that was necrologists. Just stay alert.

AH - I know for fact, he/family is not from ancient Egypt nor anywhere close by . . . And as far as I know, nor are they into "necrophilia" either . . . So I am safe . . . Just Sayin' . . .

Does ArcticFox make that big a difference? I'm genuinely curious, because I don't think I've ever upgraded any firmware on my mods.
Arctic Fox brings compatible mods to near DNA mod performance. Big difference? Depends who you ask. Some folks are perfectly happy with the default non-AF firmware while others swear by AF. All my Pico 75's (and some other mods) are running AF. Some of the newer Pico's, like one of the ones Tor has, and many other mods, are not compatible with AF. Deciding what mods to code for AF is up to the NFE Team (AF creators).

There is a complete list of AF compatible mods on the AF/NFE website. Most of the mods listed are older and can no longer be found. There are always folks on the NFE forum looking for some of the decent older mods. I think Eleaf was smart to continue manufacturing the Pico 75's. I bought my first Pico when they were released in 2015ish, IIRC. That one is still running fine. Pico 75's can take a beating and still work. A couple years ago I bought some spare boards and screens for my Pico's.

The Arctic Fox firmware together with the software app offers many of the same options found in Evolv's eScribe for DNA mods. There are many options for tweaking your vape. On a mod with AF there are 8 profiles that you can customize as you see fit. Examples would be having one setup for wattage with a preheat wattage boost or just straight wattage. Many TC settings. You could setup profiles for different RBA's with various wire types (Kan, SS, Ti etc.) and for more exotic coils (claptons, aliens etc.).

In the software as you make changes to your mod (connected to a PC) you can see the performance in real time graphed out for many parameters. Once you have a mod setup to your liking then you are set.

Somehow this song came up in conversation between me and mother... but we disagreed about the lyrics. She said it says southern california and I said it just says california. Turns out we were both right (it was a really nice bonding moment... we both love that song):

Sorting through this hot mess. At least I have endless choices on what to vape
Hope you are doing well. I hope you don't mind me asking... is Mel short for Melanie, Melody or something else? You don't have to say... Mel is fine with me (I finally figured out that Nola means New Orleans LA)

Well Charlie, that was my super plan, but all three, even the two original 23mm Pico unfortunately came with USB-C port, and when I say unfortunately, it seems that we can not upgrade the Firmware on them, but I have to read on the NFE forum.
iStick Pico - Eleaf electronic cigarette
See the NFE Team forum for your newer Pico's.

Here: Search Results for Query: pico | NFE Team

Post copied from the NFE forum: "You can ask Eleaf support directly, and their answer will be something like this: The product with Type-C cannot be upgraded. All new Picos are not flashable. Forget about them."

Unfortunately the newer Pico's with type C USB will not work with Arctic Fox. They will not recognize the Eleaf updater either. Your best option is to look around for older Pico 75's. Last time I looked there were still some to be found.

That was a lot more in depth answer than I was expecting. I can see how some people would find that beneficial. I probably would not mess around with it though. As long as the fire button and wattage buttons work in a mod, I'm all set.

@Tor R, there are still the Eleaf Pico S 21700 and the Pico 25 for sale online. Those work with Arctic Fox. I have some Pico S's, they're nice mods.

Here is the complete list of compatible mods. Maybe you can find some in Europe.

So the other day (can't even explain why) I rolled a cig from my nephew's ciggy butts (he tends to leave half a cig) but it was stale dry... smoked three drags and it was so nasty. Put it out and ran for my vape. I think it was because I keep dreaming about smoking. Maybe I needed that (to remind me how nasty it is) I haven't dreamed about smoking since so maybe it was good thing?

Nice bunch of flavors. :thumb: You must be nearing Hitt's 600+ by now. Isn't it nice being all stocked up with gear? No more rushing around to buy this and that. Now when I buy the occasional vape gear (that I don't need ) it's more like a special treat to myself.

Flavor enablers? In this thread? Noooooo way. :D :p
ELR tells me I’ve got 528 flavors… Stocking for a lifetime in just over a year wore me out. I had one mod/tank when I started stocking. Too much too soon and I have what I need for at least two lifetimes but yet I still use one mod/rta…:?:. I’m a simple girl. :)

I refuse to count anymore. I have “a lot”.

I like variety... MTL, RDL and my RTA (sort of in between) so I mix 6 mg, 12 mg (and both to end up around 9 mg) I thought I might reduce these levels but I like my nic (just like I like my caffeine... coffee) so this works for me (have no intention of cutting back) 2 cups of strong coffee every morning, 12 mg nic juice and then (mostly) 6 mg juice the rest of the day. I will admit... vaping right before bed is messing with me (strange dreams) so I might not do that anymore.

Enablers one and all! How do you think I ended up with over 600? When I first came on this thread my flavors fit in a small cardboard box about 5x 5. Now I have six double sided cases along with two stack on cases and a handful loose in my cabinet.
