Been thinking about a milkshake base.

Every milkshake recipe in real life starts off with ice cream + milk.

We already have a good ice cream base. Thinking that should be part of any milkshake base, maybe with slight adjustments, IDK. A thought.

Off the top of my head add ~1% FA Milk to the IC base. Now you have ice cream + milk, just like a milkshake recipe IRL.

Perhaps add some VTA Milkshake Base. Presto!

Seems to me that just might work as a milkshake base.

Use what we have + do what we can with it!

or just TFA malted milk? added to Fran's ICB. That was my first thought at 1-2% for a milkshake base (since I have it) do you think that would work?

Fortunately we can be a bit more creative with vape flavors.

That's what I said silly one.

Use what we have - meaning any of our zillion flavors on-hand. And/or bases.
Do what we can with it - meaning get creative with flavors and/or bases.

Sometimes taking a good base and adjusting it slightly yields good results. Like IDK, say Creamy Custard Base.

It all comes down to what any of us is looking for in a milkshake base. Putting forth ideas is always a good thing.

That is true. I was just thinking everything would have a malted flavor. I like malt but wouldn’t want it in a base.

I have used VTA Milkshake base quite a bit and I’ve never got a malted taste from it.

I think TFA VBIC gets an off unpleasant taste for me above like 3-4% (usually keep it 1-1.5) so I was afraid that wouldn't be a winner from the start even have it extra steep time just incase.

I was also not surprised I didn't like it. But I figured I would give it a shot.

What if 4 people sft'ed it and 2 got a malt taste and 2 got a milkshake taste...

What if 4 people sft'ed it and 2 got a malt taste and 2 got a milkshake taste...

which was why I was going to grab it to complement the TFA malted milk, figuring the malted was slight. Guessing other flavors could cover the malted leaving just the tone?

If they all use the 0.50% yes it would cause one to scratch ones head......But reviews also said that the higher the % the malted flavor disappears. So who knows. Guess it has to be tried to each ones taste buds........as usual.

I’m not sure. I mix large bases and wouldn’t want to take the chance of everything tasting like malt. I would have to mix something smaller and don’t really have the interest. I however might find something to mix with the malted milk.

LOL.. I guess you were not around when I tried the Blueberry Milkshake flavor........I was not about to mix anything that smelled like that.....nope......could not make me.......@hittman can tell you. ROFL
