If you had Zazie change SSA Cranberry Jam to 0.45% there would be no confusion.![]()
Ahlusion made a Caramel Pear White Tea which was good. But, you don't do caramelMy DIYVAPORSUPPLY has shipped so……..what do I do with the white tea?
Can’t taste it. I tried several years ago.Ahlusion made a Caramel Pear White Tea which was good. But, you don't do caramel
You left out chocolate.FA Pear gains creaminess as it steeps. It's my favorite pear. The other pear I like is TFA's. It's a full, juicy, nice all around pear flavor.
Ideas and possibilities?
Per my Flavor Bible: a few things (not the full list) pear will work with are apricot, raspberries, strawberries, apples (you can't do), passion fruit, oranges, blackberries, lemons, cranberries. Custards, creams, ice cream. Mascarpone. Vanillas. Caramel, butterscotch, toffee (you can't do those). Walnut, hazelnut, almond. Rhubarb.
And beets, onions, prunes and more. You left out chocolate.
If you would like to experience some excellent artisan teas I can highly recommend Tea DudeCheck out Smith Teamaker (online). I order wonderful teas from them, they have a good variety. May give you some ideas. Right now I have an iced green with pineapple, peach and vanilla notes. The blackberry jasmine is a favorite too.
You have remarkable timing....that would be Sweet Tea![]()
I.e.,@Zazie. On my Jammy Croissant recipe the first flavor should be .07 used. It’s not a %. Sorry, I know that’s confusing.
Yes, but pear and chocolate actually do pair well. And beets, onions, prunes and more.
I can just link to the recipe as I posted it, crediting it to Fran. You have remarkable timing.Do you have the ability to go back and edit someones post from a couple weeks ago?
@FranC's recipe Random DIY mixing and More has .07% for the SSA Cranberry Jam. It should be 0.45%. The .07 is actually grams not the percent.
Scroll up on this page and the last couple on the previous page and you will understand more clearly. Fran wants to make it right. I'm trying to help.
Yes. That's it.So the recipe should be as follows?
Jammy Croissant
SSA Cranberry Jam 0.45%
FA Almond 0.5%
TFA Pom 2 drops per 15 mls
Top with @ShowMeTwice's Croissant Base.
I'm glad your team won.@Redbird11 for once I can say your team did not beat my team tonight. My team is three outs away from beating the Mets. Maybe.
ETA: Update. My team won. Final-freakinly a win!
I believe you and that's good to know. I wasn't joking though. The Flavor Bible actually has beets, onions and prunes pairing well with pear too. Also lists chocolate.Yes, but pear and chocolate actually do pair well.
