Seriously? You don't know how to pronounce the "oo" sound? ;)

Just like you would pronounce "moon"

or :cook"
or "floor"
or "blood"
or "brooch"
or "cooperative"

FYI: Snus rhymes with "loose."
seriously?
I pronounce the "oo" sound "oh oh".
Just as in all your examples.
Oh oh.

Personal Update:

Got Booster shot and Flu Vaccine today (Local Publix's Pharmacy) . . . No appointment necessary - no lines either . . . Thankfully, I brought "My" Covid Vaccine card (You need to have it with you or no shot) . . . Hopefully, I'm covered/"protected" for the Winter at least . . . Left arm - Booster - No Problems . . . Right arm - Flu shoot - Sore . . . Just Sayin' . . .

.

Got my booster a few days back. Given the political makeup around here the vaccination rate is low and the hospital system is in a bad way, they are starting to cancel non-emergency hospital visits and surgeries that require an overnight stay. Breakthrough infections are still rare but that extra protection feels good.

I put off the flu shot though. They are recommending not having the two shots at the same time because they have no information yet on whether that could be a problem.

That's exactly why my knee surgery was canceled last year. Sucks. I wonder how many died from cancer and other things waiting for treatment.

Everything is progressing for the surgery Friday - I was starting to think it wasn't going to happen but just talked to the surgeon's asst and she said it's a go. I can't wait, my knee is killing me. Maybe I can stay awake and video the surgery for you guys.
Please do post the vid, but only if it's bloody and gory.
    Best of luck for Friday.

I hope to regain some renewed inspiration for mixing new recipes from y'all. I've been in a slump for the past several months in regards to diy eliquid experimentation. My time and energy has been ... diverted I suppose. Gardening has become very important to me this year.

I see that you have been branching out into semi-sweet e-liquids, and new devices, @FranC . It looks like you are having fun with it, and I'm glad to see this. How are you liking the Dvarw so far? I have one (fasttech Dvarw DL), and I think it is a very nice tank. I haven't used it as much as I thought I would, because I squonk all of the time, but I hope to use it more in the future.

No new vape orders in quite some time. I didn't even know we could still buy vape stuff legally. All of this crazy legislation threw me for a loop, so I haven't been keeping up with things.

As much as I've distanced myself from the news lately, I imagine there's alot more I am missing on that front (hard to keep up with).

@Territoo yep, Texas is a big state, that's for sure. It's funny how we measure travel in hours, where as most states measure it in miles.

I've got a honeysuckle flavor, which I love, but what are y'alls favorite honeydew, and watermelon, flavors? TFA watermelon used to be my favorite, but nowadays it just doesn't taste like real watermelon to me anymore, it's lacking the juicyness. As far as honeydew goes I haven't even tried any vape flavors.

Anyway, happy mixing folks. I hope to be joining y'all in this pastime once again, soon. Until then, persistence beats resistance, and I'll get there in time. Vape on.

Take a picture of your covid card so you have a record on your phone if you haven’t already; then you can tuck that card away for safekeeping.

Thanks for the suggestion . . . Already done, keep it in the same medical file on the phone along with my medication list . . . Also, went to Office Depot where they copied the card (front & back) and then laminated it for FREE . . . I keep the original at home and leave the laminated card in my car just in case I need it . . . Just Sayin' . . .

Good evening. We met the kids at a bar and grill downtown for dinner. It was nice to meet my daughters friend that she performs with. He’s a pretty good guitar player and has a nice singing voice. Together they make a good duet.

Would they also make a good couple?

Actually, the official recommendation is not to laminate--in case you need another booster or whatever in the future, but I guess it doesn't matter if you have other copies. I keep the original at home (unlaminated) and carry a copy in my wallet--just in case I need to show it. Didn't get a booster yet--I had Moderna.

    As I mentioned in the post you quoted . . . Same here . . . Original at home - Laminated card in car . . . Just Sayin' . . .

It's my understanding that DD has a BF already. But I may be wrong. Hitt will clarify. ;)

Ah - Yes she does have a boyfriend, but as "Hitt" has mentioned in previous post - he doesn't "like" him. . . Just Sayin' . . .

The pics I've seen of the surgery are plenty bloody and gory - I haven't tried to watch a video but they're out there. Hey if I'm awake I could give the surgeon "pro tips" to make my knee high speed and low drag. LOL

    And TY Bud!

Gardening has healing powers--I'm convinced of that. Even small household plants heal. I talk to mine and they never talk back. :)
Mine talk back, but it's subtle, and I have to listen very closely to them, in the quiet moments of dawn, in the late evening hours, in between. House plants tell me "outside, plant me, and I'll grow!".

Outside plants have eaier requests of me. As far as talking back, they are all very pleasant in their requests. I find that the complaints are more likened to music. Delivered by wind, as a breeze or a gale, in rhythms so easily missed, the notes traditionally percieved so sharply on strings or brass, the understated flutters, whispers, and rattles, leaves and vines, singing that ancient song, as old as time itself, life goes on.

Mostly they ask for a little water, or some attention regarding bugs, or harvests, extra food, grass intruding, and what not. Plants are so much easier for me than animals, at least so far in my limited experience. Who knows, time may change that.

As far as healing powers, I'm also convinced they do have that in different ways.
