I am no fan of Watson, never was. IMO he, like Tua, was overrated coming out of college. I think Watson is a rather pedestrian and mediocre QB at best. Besides what team is gonna be so desperate in wanting him with all his legal, and life, problems? IMO he is just another problem child like OBJ or AB. You couldn't pay me to take either of those two either.

I predict the Raiders will sign Watson.
I disagree about Watson being a mediocre quarterback. I think he is one of the best in the league. But the legal stuff is just too much of a headache. If I was a fan of a team, I would probably want them to avoid trading for Watson because of that.

I never did mix my pie recipes yesterday. Out of the clear blue, and totally not on my To Do list, I repainted my bathroom. Then cleaned it all over again. Looks nice.

Hopefully today I'll get my pie mixes done! :thumb:

    Somewhere between here and there
Sometimes. But I have a lot on me so it’s best to stay on top of it or it will get out of hand. I’m a one woman show over here. Never a dull moment that’s for sure. I have already started shopping for my Mom and a little bit for my gifts. The holidays are upon us and it happened so fast!

That's where I'm lucky. I pulled some money the other day for my wife to get started on Xmas shopping. She does most of the shopping. She swears that this year she's not buying for the one brother that we almost never see and doesn't stay in touch but then wants to get together at Xmas to exchange gifts. I don't think we've seen or heard from him three times this year. I always pick a few little things for the kids and shop for the wife. Last year I got her an iwatch and she still hasn't used it. I'm going to stop buying her electronics. The only thing I've gotten her in that category that she actually uses is a Macbook.

Morning Fran. Today includes work, studying, and returning a phone back to Best Buy. Already ran this morning, then walked the dog.

    How bout you?

It's great how you're so motivated to run in the mornings. I wish I was more of morning person. This week was a fail as far as exercise goes. There's been something going on or I was too tired after work and haven't ran since Sunday. Now the youngest is coming home today so probably won't get in another one until Sunday again.

They still might in the offseason. I kind of had a feeling he would not end up getting trade by the deadline. Too much legal stuff going on for now.
His legal troubles might still be ongoing this coming off season and well into the next year. All depends on what the prosecutors do in Texas. If he is prosecuted, and found guilty, toss in a very lengthy eviction from the NFL and he may never play again. In the end he may be deemed too "toxic" for the family friendly likes of the NFL. All those women coming after him speaks volumes, IMO. There are many!

I came into the bedroom last night ready for bed. Wife was reading a book and Buster took my spot.

What a difference 13 months make, his first night home.

The stern look on Buster's face says "my spot, you go sleep on the couch Dad".

    Good morning folks
we have had a nice nice friday here in southern norway, we have been to the forest with Øsa.
She was chasing deer, we saw two pieces with her a few minutes later.
A little fun to see how fast they come, and how slow Øsa is.
And no, we did not shoot, there are as many deer right now as there were when we went out.

I wouldn't say I'm a morning person, but I like running first thing for a couple reasons. One, it is a good way to start my day and clear my head, and is a great way to wake up. Another, is to get it out of the way. That way, no matter if something comes up later in the day, I will have already gotten my run in.

Yeah, he is in quite the legal pickle. The Texans should have traded him before this stuff came out.

Hey, not my fault. Blame SMT. I didn’t mix any.
It's ok, I'll take the blame for anything, cuz I am Mikey's brother.

Except for... you not liking these very fine flavors: sugar cookie, apple, caramel, butterscotch, pear, oranges, brown sugar, coconut... and the others! :D

There’s still a few months left on the extended warranty but would rather not deal with it.
Speaking of extended warranty's, when I bought my leaf blower, at the checkout they asked if I wanted the extended warranty! I honestly started laughing out loud, probably shouldn't have, but couldn't help it. I think we can buy optional extended warranty's on just about everything these days.

I am hoping for one the next time I buy pencils at Staples. ;)

I actually might mix my try at a cake base tomorrow. No big bottle, just a 15ml. The recipe I wrote does look like something I’ll like and there’s only one way to find out.
Yesterday I received my order for 25 15ml glass bottles with assembled droppers. It only took 2 days. They are nearby, just 90 miles west of me.

Well I'm not mixing, but I am making a chocolate cake today with I'm thinking a vanilla cream pat filling and perhaps a Swiss buttercream icing because I can't think of anything more exciting.... Lol

I've decided to celebrate my blood work-up not showing diabetes which I was concerned about, and being in general decent health, (back notwithstanding but I'm in less pain)

So, nice cake it will be, and a big pot of chili for supper! Temp is 28 degrees, good day for cooking and baking.. :)
What time is dinner served? ;) :D

Good morning random folks :) Have you any plans today?
Good morning!!!!!!! :D I need to make a grocery run today. Running late on that.

Also hoping to mix 2 pies. An apple pie and the other an apricot/pear pie. Because this will be my first time using OOO Pie Crust I am going to start with very basic 2-3 flavor mixes. That way I'll know how well the OOO pie crust works and if it is a solid pie crust on its own or might need some help with the crust. Once I know then I will add the other flavors from my notes to both pie mixes. :)

It is supposed to be a very neutral tasting pie crust. And that's what I am hoping for. That way I can add either graham, croissant, cake, cookie or another pie crust to take it in several different directions. I don't think it will be limited to just pies. :)

AB graduated from my high school (Miami Norland), of course, many years after me.
He played quarterback, runningback, wide receiver, and punt/kickoff returner. He was injured his senior year (brutal concussion) and only played 5 games-- passing for 1300 yards 11 passing touchdowns, 500 yards rushing with 13 rushing touchdowns, and 550 return yards with 8 touchdowns... in 5 games! What's wild about it is every high school in the area puts up great teams every year, so it's stiff competition.

I know most people hate him, but I will admit to being a fan of his since I first watched him in HS. My friend who coaches ball down there for a rival school suspects AB suffers from severe CTE. He said he saw him get knocked out twice in one game and the coaches still didn't take him out.

I don't think Watson is overrated on the field-- 4 seasons, 14,500 yards passing, 121 total tds to 36 interceptions, and a 104 QBR rating.

However, his behind the scenes behavior makes AB look like Mother Theresa.

I feel bad for Tua, one hell of a kid/person, but.. as proven in the NFL-- talent overrides character most of the time.

I also feel bad for Tua. Saw some special ESPN did on him a while back. Solid guy with a very solid family. And who knows, the best thing for him might be to get traded and to sit behind a good QB. Tua could still turn out to be a decent QB. Being thrust in to being a starting QB in the NFL is not easy. Brett Favre sat for a while before being traded. Look how that turned out.
