Well at least you feel ok to post....hoping it passes soon. Don't know you that well but thinking of you all the same. Chin upLike I said before, it is a big time azz kicker, I'm now into day 4, I hope it doesn't last much longer.
Every year my Mom says she can’t do Christmas any more. I always end up buying all her gifts and wrapping them, three minimum per person…Wow! This thread was popping so much this morning. Wishing everyone a healthy day! @dennism it will take time to heal. The trick is to take naps-even if its all day long. Go with it. Do talk to your doctor about the monoclonal antibody treatment.
I'm really glad the only thing I have to remember is to send a xmas card to BIL in Australia. I have to do it at the End of Nov because its on a slow boat. We don't buy presents anymore. If we do it's throughout the year when we need something or want to gift it to my son. I do take advantage of those Black Friday sales-if I need something.
I'm glad that works for you. I love Christmas and could never do without it. The decor as well as the gift-giving. My favorite day.Wow! This thread was popping so much this morning. We have cats and gave up in 1990s with decorations. I gave everything away to charity. I have one lone winter item-a snowman to put on the front porch. I'll do that since it doesn't require too much effort. I have a small family and extended family is almost all deceased. My son will never have children. If I remember I'll buy some cat food for the no kill shelter.I'm glad that works for you. I love Christmas and could never do without it. The decor as well as the gift-giving. My favorite day.
My kitty Tigger never bothered the tree. One year he took exception to just one thing on the tree.He got up on the corner of the couch and batted it off the tree. I actually did see him do it. I picked it up and put it back and he promptly batted it off again. I waited until he was elsewhere before putting it back. As soon as he noticed he batted it back off. It went on for awhile til he lost interest. It was pretty funny. I loved that cat.We have cats and gave up in 1990s with decorations. I gave everything away to charity. I have to admit, there are times I wonder if it's because I am white.
Mine comes down on the 26th. Work gave us two extra holidays this year. I’ll have 11 straight days off for the holidays (rare) and I don’t want to be dealing with Christmas stuff the entire time. I decorated early last year and it really helped to have that major stuff done so I could focus on helping Mom. I gotta take advantage of the little free time I have. Once I’m retired and my son is gone I doubt I’ll do it this early since I won’t be so time limited.I dont decorate for Christmas until after Thanksgiving, when Advent arrives, but I leave my decorations up for the entire true Christmas season, that is Epiphany on January 9. If I put them up this early, I'd just be so sick of them by then. Once, during my residency, I didn't get around to talking my tree down until March. I was sick of it, but was so tired I never had time to do it.

Good luck with your mix.Hello Mixers. Six months ago I borrowed from the ELR, and started something called "Wimbledon". I used just basic flavors - 4% English Toffee, 3% Vanilla Swirl, 3% Creme de Menthe (all flavors TFA). Starting into it, it has a mild, smooth toffee inhale and a minty exhale.
Maybe I'll add some Dark Chocolate.....
