We were on our way to Nice airport and came up alongside a guy on an electric scooter....I matched his speed and he was going 40kmh at least....they like danger in France :)

I was on my way to work once just coming into the city center at around 30mph. There was a young guy in the next lane on a small scooter, driving with his right hand and carrying a pair of crutches with his left hand. You have to laugh, but maybe if he didn't make it to work he would lose his job, miss his rent and be out on the street.

He posted an update late last night. He got the police involved and the person is returning the dog to him today.

I am going in for 3rd Covid shot today. I will be super-immunized now... kind of like Aaron Rodgers.
Glad he’s getting his dog back.

Hey, I hope the woman who did that crap is not welcome in the group where it happened any more.

That booster shot felt almost as good as the first shot for me. After a year of being scared of the world.

I have my cake recipe scribbled on a real piece of scrap paper. Since I am serious about mixing it I should get it written out on a proper paper.

Back in the 50's everyone used to take the paper labels off cans and save them for shopping lists or whatever. My mother kept a cake tin full of them in the kitchen. It was after the war and everything was hard to get including paper. Guess we should be grateful we have proper paper these days.

She shut down her account. This was a message she sent him before she did. Even after she put him through all of this he still came to her defense and told people not to threaten her.

I think Jordan learned a valuable lesson here, one she should have already known.

It will be such a relief.

My wife started coughing a lot a couple of months ago. She got checked out and there was nothing wrong. She decided it might be vaping flavors.

I started filling her tanks with unflavored base and she stopped coughing right away. Then she started coughing again and figured it might be the nic, so I made her some base with no nic. I normally make it at 6mg. No coughing for several weeks now. I'm surprised she was able to lose the nic so easily, but it's 8 or 9 years since she quit smoking. Guess there's more to it than nic addiction.

It's hard to tell whether flavors had anything to do with her cough, she's been vaping the same 3 flavors for years without problems. And late summer and fall is max allergy season round here.

It's good news for me though. She goes through a bunch of juice. She chain vapes, and vapes the tanks dry as well, so they get overheated and I had to rewick her tanks every few days. Without flavors they should last a long time.

I use the paper my teabags come in as note paper. Most writing being electronic these days; that’s all I need to jot the occasional note.

Part of the family has agreed to a Christmas party this year. Really glad of that because I wasn’t fond of the Zoom party of last year. Just half the family and most are folks I’m around fairly often. At least everyone has had their shots.
