I only have one with top air, GeekVape Ammit, I hate that atty, I discarded it quickly. I guess I actually have two if I count an O-Genny, but it's an RDTA.
The key to kayfun is to get the wick right. I do not find them very difficult to wick, no worse than any of the others I have.

I just plain didn’t like the kayfuns. I don’t mind bottom air flow.
No matter how good the rta was supposed to be, I always had at least a little liquid leak out. That all went away with top air flow.

The Ammit Mtl or DL? The mtl was a pain to get the wicking right so it didn’t leak. My all time favorite is the original Geekvape Zeus single coil Rta. Top airflow and super easy to build and wick.

The Zeus is my second choice. It is only slightly behind the 1st edition Intake.

I’ll take the Zeus over the intake every day of the week. That’s probably why I gave one away but still have 12 of the Zeus.

I agree , & most likely the reason I like the Intake best is because it is the one I found first.
I will say that I do not use either as a sub ohm tank. I try for one ohm on either one a voltage at around 13 volts. So I use neither as they were designed.

I usually run .25 ohm 316 flat braided coils in the Zeus somewhere between 23-28 watts.

I should of said the kayfuns were clones. No way I would pay big bucks for something I wasn't sure about. I did have a authentic Russian 91 ? I think that is what it was called. I obtained it though a trade and ended up giving it away as well. Going to watch "Claws". I watched the latest Halloween kills movie with the partner critic. LOL It was really cheesy but I didn't fall a sleep.

I use an Ammit MTL for squonking on my Woodie. That way you always have the right amount of juice and the wicking is a breeze. Just cut the ends and stick them in the wells. The part I don't like is the coil. With two holes at the same height and too far apart for my small coils I find it hard to get the legs in the holes and the coil level. I never got good at doing that. Don't use it much.

It's my only top air flow.
