Last night, the forecast was calling for gusts of up to 65 mph. That was dropped to 55 this morning. Which is still kind of brisk, if you ask me.Just a tad, I know you are jokin'![]()

That's actually what I was thinking.....that a flavor direct from the bottle would be too strong. I may do some small bottles while waiting for main flavor to steep.Good thought. You could. But that will get tricky.
If the flavor (straight from the bottle) becomes the predominate flavor on your wick, you are totally hosed. You would then need to rewick. And in some cases replace the coil if it was a strong flavor. I've had to do that with claptons a few times (with regular mixes only!).
If you have a base you like and want to see how flavor XYZ will work (direct from the flavor bottle), yes, it might/maybe work. In that case, I would start with a very well saturated wick of your base mix, add a single drop from the flavor bottle, then add more of the base mix over the top so they mix together within the wick. Let it sit for a few minutes before vaping so the new flavor works its way into your base mix.
I would not add a flavor straight from the bottle. If the new flavor (direct from bottle) is a strong one, super or ultra concentrated, you run the risk of it completely overpowering the original mix. Hosed. Rewick.
I like doing it with already made and steeped mixes. When I do SFT's there is always some left. Rather than dump those I always experiment using them in other mixes. You could always do a bunch of 5ml solo flavor mixes, PIA I know, and add them over a base you may want to mix any of those flavors with.
FWIW, there are a few people on ECF vaping flavorless who sometimes add a drop or two straight from the flavor bottle to their wick just for something different. That works well for them.
Hope that makes sense.![]()
I've always loved dripping. The flavor folks get from an RDA is far more intense versus the flavor you get from an RTA.I've never been a dripper. I have tried in the past. Maybe if I get the hang of it I'll like it more. Kinda doubt it but who knows. Never been a squonker either, something along the same lines.
Doing it direct from the flavor bottle would very likely work with TPA/TFA and many CAP flavors. For the most part they're fairly weak flavorings in comparison to most of the newer companies flavors. That's actually what I was thinking.....that a flavor direct from the bottle would be too strong. I hate winter so bad that I start saying spring is around the corner about October each year.9 degrees. Spring isn't close here.
Fran, I don't have the Pulse v2 but @AngeNZ does. Maybe she can pop over here and offer her thoughts. How is the VV Pulse V2 as a squonk?
