The roads around my house had about an inch or so of snow on them but as I went south to work it was a bit heavier and looked like the plows had not run over most of it or salted from what I could tell. My Jeep did really well and I didn't slip a tire in 4wd except for when I pushed the pedal a little too hard coming off of a stop light. It's funny because they cancelled trash pick up the rest of the week so they could pull those workers to drive plows but I didn't see any plows on the way to work.

They said they couldn't pretreat around here because it will be rain, then freezing rain or sleet, then snow. They can't put salt down until it turns to snow.

Good morning everyone

Did you get your 4th vaccine yet?

I haven't yet, hopefully in the next week or two. Do you by chance know how much time is taken between shots? I think I got my third shot (full dose, not booster) in October.

You've got to factor in the sidewalk height!! My snowman's always 3' :D

From the third dose (which is 3rd in series for autoimmune, etc) it is 5 months now. Unless they change it again.

Good morning in here! Mass quantities of coffee needed!

ETA. ECF still says my photos are too large!! @classwife any ideas??

I just crop the picture to bring the file size below 2 mb.

I thought it was only dna that you weren't advised to lock the resistance on.
I run TC on most of my regulated mods and do not lock resistance on any of them.

DNA and most other mods, including the Pico 75 w/AF, have a "refinement" function that fine tunes the resistance reading as the device rests for a more accurate temperature control. Locking the resistance would interfere with that function.

The resistance of SS316L fluctuates as you vape. That is normal. Locking the resistance may be beneficial for finicky atty's where resistance fluctuates a lot but as a matter of choice should not be used in normal operation. If the resistance fluctuates a lot then a dirty or loose coil connection should be suspected.

With Arctic Fox, and using the real-time graph, you should be able to tweak the TC settings so that TC doesn't immediately kick in and throttle wattage right away.

Example: If vaping at 24w, temp at 400F and a Preheat of 30 watts... TC might kick in quickly, depending on how much airflow your RBA has. If TC kicks in quickly and throttles the wattage you can increase the temp to 440-450 in order to get the hit you like. Adjusting the Preheat and Temp, saving to the mod and then watching the real-time monitor will help to get the exact TC vape you want.

Morning, mixers, and happy hump day :)

A bit brisk overnight, 27, but heading towards the mid 40s.... and rain. Fine by me, don't need to shovel that!

    Benefits of Temperature Control (FWIW).

TC gives you the ability to set a maximum temperature your coils will reach and your mod will alter the power output (watts) to ensure that coils never reach beyond the set limit. That is not true when vaping in wattage mode where a coil will continue to get hotter and in turn deliver a hotter vape.

With TC I can vape a tank completely dry without burning the wick. Temp control prevents that from happening. No dry hits, ever. My wicks last longer.

TC vaping limits the output of the batteries to a pre-defined setting, the batteries are never taxed too much, that means they perform better for longer (and arguably in a much safer manner). Better battery life.

Coils last longer. TC isn’t pushing a coil too hard as is the case with wattage mode. The load they experience on a day to day basis is much less and this means they last a lot longer.

With TC you get a consistent vape every time that is packed full of flavor but it never overloads the batteries or the coil. If you want a slightly bigger hit, just up the temperature slightly. Want less? Knock it down.

    :)

Where did you get the batteries Tor??
I think he bought from here:
    Home | Fogstar Wholesale
Fogstar runs a price offer on Friday, I do not know if it concerns the wholesale side.
You have to buy for over £ 75, and they at least use DHL to Norway which is not cheap, but they may use another shipping company to France.

Yep! One of the many reasons I haven't eaten at any fast food joints in nearly 40 years. Their food is very unhealthy. McDonald's removed their salads from the menu in April 2020. I would never have eaten a salad of theirs because, besides looking fake, I am 100% certain the mice would refuse that as well. Their salads were not what I would call a 'healthy' salad.
