Went out today to a Van Gogh exhibition. Bit of a con in a way. A whole floor of the museum but only one Van Gogh painting. Lots of prints of his paintings and information about his life. There was one wild section. A huge completely empty display room with various pillars and sections of dividing walls. The ceiling was black and it was unlit except for moving projections on the floor and walls. The first one after I went in was Van Gogh style flowers in vases, but moving around and changing shape and color. Most were random constantly changing patterns which moved smoothly between the walls and the floor. For a while it was colored dots that moved in unison over every surface in the room and periodically changed direction. It was like walking into an acid trip, there was even trippy music playing. There were random floor to ceiling mirror sections as well which reflected the opposite wall and tricked you into thinking you could carry on walking through them. I have no idea how they did it.
There were three others floors in the museum with other art, and we did get a couple of Van Gogh coffee mugs.
