It is nice having smart TV's. My big one is up north. The smaller one is at home. Each TV has all the apps installed for the various streaming services (114 to date). I use 19 of those. I pay for the Hulu + Live TV, Disney+, ESPN bundle. The rest are free streaming services. HBOMax is included free with my 1gig AT&T fiber connection. New streaming services (apps) are added all the time.

The geek that I am installed the apps for the ones I watch most on my iPhone and iPad. And I also stream to my Mac's.

The girls want me to get the Prime streaming service. Still thinking about that. I know I would like the SciFi shows they have.

Yes. :( I'm missed up north and miss them too. Hopefully I'll get all that needs taking care of wrapped up soon(ishly). I dearly miss being in nature and with our horses. City life is ok, but, yeah.

Carli dog and Angel cat have adjusted well to our nomadic lifestyle.

Me? I've always been somewhat of a gypsy leading the life of a nomad. Traveled most of my life. Where ever I am is home! :thumb:

When we got home, in da city, Carli flew onto my bed. Angel crawled under the covers.

I can keep traveling between both places. Everyone is ok with that. At this point I don't want to sell the house. I'm not ready and am still attached to all that happened here, the good and the 'other'.

30+ years here has brought many memories. Many were truly awesome and some a challenge (like anyone I reckon).

I'm told by those who have been in my position that my heart and gut will let me know, if and when, it's time to let go of the house. Renting it out might be an option, maybe, at some point. I'm told not to make any rash decisions, so, I follow that judiciously.

IDK. One thing I do know for certain is "time reveals all". :)

Amen to that. I firmly believe everything is connected. The plants has a simple connection...via fungi (although it won't surprise me if they have other ways to). We are connected 'spiritually' (for lack of a better word. I believe its deeper than that...dimensionally comes to mind).
Point is, I believe there's always messages coming and going....via that inner voice, and that gut feeling. There's way more to it than just a 'voice' and a 'gut'.
Being still often we are able to find that connection, and use that as guidance.
Not easy...with all the noise around us.

You mentioned Dr. appointments?? Hope all is well.
Yes, I have four doctors appointments coming up. All is well. Nothing is going on that I know of. But then again, who knows?  These are appointments with my regular doctor and then two specialists. All the usual bloodwork and urinalysis. Also an MRI.

And also one with my ophthalmologist who is a retina specialist. Some years back I had a detached retina in my right eye. I lost nearly 70% of my vision in that eye even with emergency surgery. They like to make sure it's doing ok. They have mentioned possible problems that I may or may not experience. Due to the shape of that eye I had three different surgeries over the course of a year and a half. None was the 'normal' surgery they do for regular people with detached retinas. Funny, I'm a true one of kind with that.

Nothing major it's the 20,000 mile checkup and tuneup kind of stuff.

Some really good news is that two of my medications are free direct from the pharmaceutical company (Lilly). A few years ago I was paying just over $700 per month with good insurance for those. My doctors were pretty sharp with getting me setup for that. Every year one of my nurses fills out a bunch of paperwork for those and I just sign my John Henry and then they fax all that. Lilly approves them in a matter of days. They ship the meds monthly in a coldpack box overnight via FedEx.

They always give me more than I am supposed to get per the prescriptions. So I have plenty here and back up north. Those need to be refrigerated.

    Fun stuff! :D

Yes Mate! That ^^^ there, spot on. You know we share many similar beliefs Brother Fred. I find that connection within. Looking without, or outside of oneself, for answers is a fools journey. All the answers anyone could ever desire lie within. Daily meditation brings my mind to near stillness. The chatter of everyday life vanishes. Daily Joy is the result of my efforts. Joy is the offspring of Love. One who does not know Joy does not know Love. Know thyself.

You are 100% correct, everything and everyone is Connected. At our core we are energy. Atoms. We are the same as everything found in the infinite Universe. Science has proven this. Nature is the best teacher. It's simple, elegant and easily understood.

You and I could have some very deep conversations Mate! :D

You call four doctors fun? Sure wouldn’t be for me. I don’t take any meds. Two specialists sound a bit scary. All is well, yes?

Fran, I try my best to make nearly everything I do fun. I lived what I went through and am very grateful to come out the other side with a greater perspective. One that is continuing to blossom. I could have very easily gone in another direction. I decided to grab the bull by the horns and rode. Was down, up, down and all around again.

Found my center, my balance, and now keep that in the fore best as I'm able daily. Some days better than others. There are "those" days where I'm not at my best. Everything, and everyone, comes and goes. Nothing lasts forever. I'm ok with it All. I accept what Is and am grateful for all that I Am and experience.

That's where my sense of Fun comes from.

My doctors love how I approach everything as Fun. They wish they had more patients like me. As to my health, there isn't anything going on for me to be concerned about. Doctors always seem to be concerned. If there was, or something comes up, well then I deal with it. Otherwise, it's pedal to the metal, with whatever I have left here, Full Steam Ahead! :)

You are quite right that fun is much needed in life. I’ve found myself actually laughing at some funny comments made here. Maybe there’s hope for me yet.

    Somewhere between here and there
We went to get the Ethernet switch at Best Buy which is three doors down from JC Penney so the wife wanted to go there to pick up some hairspray that was on sale that she likes and then it was on to Sams Club to get some stuff we needed and some we didn’t. It was odd that the switch was ten dollars cheaper than it was on the website.

Now it’s time to relax and vape. I can’t remember if I mentioned it but I took the vanilla graham recipe and added some raspberry and custard cake and like it pretty well. I might just mix a bigger bottle.

3% custard cake and 2% Inw raspberry concentrate. I also dropped the cereal to 3.5.
