If any of them are mashed potato or hotdog your getting reported to the International Criminal Court!

Would that be Boiled Potato or Fried Potato? Flavour Art makes both.

Potato boiled flavor and Potato Fried flavor

They also make a couple beef flavors, a bacon flavor, roasted chicken and a boiled chicken, cured ham and a cooked ham. :D They have many unusual water soluble flavors in their savoury line. Those are mainly for enhancing real foods though. Online Store :: Savoury Flavors

No potato or any of the meat flavorings for me. We do know someone who has tried several very unusual flavor combinations in her many mixes. @Shadav, you are missed. :)

I was wondering if anyone here could tell me how TFA Irish Cream compares to SSA Irish Cream. Saw a recipe that pairs irish cream with butterscotch(both TFA in recipe) but I only have SSA Irish cream off recommendation. Was wondering if it would be passable or if the profile is too different.

I am sure the flavors for DIY are different then "IRL" fruits.
I agree but would also say yes and no. It all depends on which flavors by what company. Flavorists know all the compounds in every food item known. There are extensive databases with that info. They use that info to create the flavors we use. Some companies fair much better than others in the realism department.

Take strawberry for example. There are ~400 chemical compounds in a fresh strawberry. There is one strawberry flavoring that easily stands far above all others. MF (Medicine Flower) Strawberry. It's my favorite s-berry flavoring. I call it the Queen of Strawberries. It truly tastes like the fresh ripe strawberries we would buy along the side of the road in California.

MF flavors are very realistic. They require a solid 4-6 weeks steeping. You only need to use a few drops in a 30ml mix. They are very ultra concentrated flavorings.

Flavour Art prides themselves on realism with their fruits as well. Their two strawberries, Strawberry (Red Touch) and Juicy Strawberry, used together in a mix also create a very realistic tasting s-berry.

Many of the flavors we use in DIY are used in the food and beverage industries.

I haven’t tried those but most times I think ssa is going to be stronger than tfa so you might want to cut the percentage down if using the ssa.

meh.. here I was confused as to why Bull City Flavors had "Corn" flavor... I have NEVER woken up and thought to myself "Man I wish I could vape some corn" ALthough I suppose you could use to it to make something akin to carmel corn, or the like.
I have OOO Corn Bread. Haven't used it yet but I do have some ideas for it in bakery mixes.

IIRC @Mazinny uses FA Corn in one or more of his mixes. I would like to see his recipe. Hopefully he sees this and can post it. :)

We went to Sam’s Club and spent way too much then to Lowes but my wife didn’t find flowers she wanted. We stopped at a Mexican restaurant we’ve been to a few times before and liked. We got seated and after ten minutes we still didn’t have chips or drinks so got up and left and went to a different Mexican restaurant we like. Immediately we had drinks and chips and within five minutes had our order taken.

I figured one little recipe with the Flakey Pastry is a good start.
I did one strictly as an orange pastry mix. The other one with pastry has CAP wafer crunch, SSA chocolate mousse and a couple creams for a Creamy Chocolate Wafer. My thinking is flakey pastry will bring the soft buttery part of the wafer profile I'm after.

I need to get this one done by next weekend as it is a gift for my nephew's fiancée's bridal shower.
I am sure you will get it finished and I am also sure she will love it. I am not fond of bridal showers but I love bridal shower cakes and treats.

I would be surprised if they even bother to give me credit, if they do its likely just for S&H.
To me, that is just not acceptable. It was not your fault that they sent the wrong thing. I would have told them to send the right item you ordered and a return label for the return of the wrong product they sent or return the whole order for a credit. Their choice. I just get so upset about poor customer service and I am a professional at cutting my nose off to spite my face. You are taking it much better than I could. I'll get upset for you.

I did a simple recipe to find out what it tastes like.

I liked the perennials best. Annuals were cool too. Shopping for flowers with my wife was always an adventure that required more than one day and several stores. She knew all the places for the best ones. Our garden was always something special. She had the green thumbs. Me, not so much. :D

I don't have an Irish cream flavor, yet.

Seeing that combo, Irish cream and butterscotch, perked my interest in making something like an Irish cream and butterscotch roulade.

I like to look at foodie websites for DIY recipe ideas. Looks like I'll be getting some FA Irish Cream with my next BCF order.

I get what your saying completely. The issues is #1 once I saw the incorrect item I didn't really want to send it back lol. Issue #2 is communication/cultural issues can be very difficult to navigate, honestly more so then I am willing to deal with. #3 Life is too short for me to be bothered by a wrong $25 item. I know its the principal of it all, however it has been my experience the hassle/headache of product disputes is often in excess of any gain to be had. The product I received has piqued my interest so its not a complete waste of $$$. I will likely order the 2nd Tsunami RDA just because they are so freaking hard to find it might be the last time I can ever get one.
