Today is the end of my 4 week Shortbread steep. I've tested a few drops here & there in a little RDA that I use for testing. Have a tank fresh out of the USC that I'll try the Shortbread in. Hoping for a little wow factor.
If it’s the Cap. Shortbread I hope you like it as much as I do.

I was going to take the Serpent SMM out of rotation again, but ended up putting a new build in it.
It's only been a week or so since I tried a twisted build in it but I wasn't very happy with that. The coil ended up a lot bigger than I planned because I didn't get it to wrap tight enough. It barely fit in there and seemed to heat the tank up more than I like.

For the new coil I tried out a method that I saw on a YouTube video where you use a wire/cable splice connector sort of like a Kuro coil tool. I've only done a couple of tries so far but seem to be getting better results if I'm wanting to make an odd size coil with one of my drill bits instead of using a "normal" jig.

Couldn't take a pic of actually wrapping (not enough hands!) but you press the wire tight with your thumb or finger as you turn the connector part with your other hand. In the video they used a screwdriver which actually gives you a nice handle to turn with.

Probably going to freshen up the wicks in Cloudy and the Big Baby Beast later on today.

I have a couple sets of Kuro coilers and a coilmaster set or two but usually never use them any more. I usually use one of these. It's a coiling tool and a coil brush in one.

I figured it was but just checking.

I'm liking the CAP Shortbread. You're right about it needing a 4 week steep. Even the difference between 3 & 4 weeks was very noticeable. I'm fruit & bakery challenged. I'm a tobacco head. I got it to experiment with it, as a background / complimentary flavor in tobacco mixes. I think it may work out nicely in that role.

Yes, it definitely needs the 4 weeks. I have NET’s but that’s an interesting idea. I’d be interested in what you come up with.
