Yes, it’s also a smoker. I have an inexpensive barrel smoker with side fire box. Over the years I’ve just gotten tired of having to constantly tend to it while smoking meat 4-8 hours. I want something that I can basically set and forget. I’m sure there’s a little learning curve. That and also am tired of having to start charcoal an hour before cooking anything.

Having Wi-Fi and Bluetooth will make it much easier. When cooking all night I used to use remote sensors and keep it by my bed so I could check on it during the night. You'll be able to use your phone.

Now I just need to find a home for my old one.

I'd just trundle it to the end of my driveway and slap a "free" sign on it.

I thought about that. I’m going to ask around work first to see if anyone wants it.

I just couldn’t get that grill out of my head. I looked online and the lady at the store was wrong. It’s still on sale today. There was only one left at the store so I went ahead and bought it online and will pick it up at the store later.

    The new grill won out.

I just finished nailing all the bathroom trim back in place and put wood putty on the nail holes. A couple pieces I cut yesterday didn’t quite fit. I had to sand one down on one end and had to cut a new piece that somehow came out an eighth of an inch short. I’m pretty inexperienced at cutting trim but it came out pretty good in the end.

I’m sure you did good. Practice makes you better at that sort of stuff.

I went to the store to pick up my new grill and I had no idea it would be already assembled. It wouldn’t fit in my jeep or my wife’s vehicle. We had to wait and have them take the legs off of it so we could put the barrel portion in my car and the legs in my wife’s car. It took forever and now I have to assemble it. What a PITA.

I just did some "playing around" mixes. I saw a post by someone about using a random generator to pick flavors and figured I'd give it a go and at least put it to paper.

I did it a week or so ago using four flavors per mix and was sort of "meh" with the results, as might be expected. Today I went with three flavors each and most don't actually sound terrible.
What they end up tasting like will be another matter.

I generated eight mixes but am probably lucky that I only had four empty bottles cleaned up and ready for mixing. I just used the average percentages for each flavor from ATF with the four that I mixed up today,

    CAP Vanilla Custard
    TFA Toasted Marshmallow
    JF Yellow Cake

    FW Butterscotch Ripple
    CAP Gingerbread
    FW Graham Cracker

    FA Hazel Grove
    TFA Peanut Butter
    VT Swiss Chocolate

    VT Honeycomb
    CAP French Vanilla
    INW Biscuit

Sort of odd that no fruits came up in any of the eight sets I generated today.

Well, @hittman 's bad luck must be making the rounds. Heard a big BOOM from the back of the house, to find this.

Had a few gusty winds, and a 15 ft limb from the maple tree blew down and came right through the aluminum roof on the back porch.

Good thing no one was there! Is the insurance adjuster coming out for an inspection?

The only ones out there at the time were the two cats. They came flying in the house like they were shot out of a cannon. I left the limb where it was, until I can check with the insurance company in the morning. I did cover the worst of the hole with some heavy duty chicken wire, and stapled / wired it in place. The last thing I need is a damn squirrel getting in the house!

Yikes! It could've been worse. It could've been a meteorite that hit your house.
