Hope you like them.
Thanks, Fran!
Worst case I'm only out about 40 ml of supplies.

Another sort of odd bit, I still have FW Yellow Cake in my flavor list and it came up for three of the mixes. Subbed in JF for the one of those that I mixed up today.

Well, @hittman 's bad luck must be making the rounds. Heard a big BOOM from the back of the house, to find this.

Had a few gusty winds, and a 15 ft limb from the maple tree blew down and came right through the aluminum roof on the back porch.

Sorry to hear that. I didn’t know I was contagious.

I need a weekend to recover from my weekend. Between the bathroom project and the grill ordeal today, I might have to take a vacation day to recover.

At least you didn't have to assemble the grill from scratch. That should make the ordeal worthwhile.

Good morning. I forgot to mention that the meat probes were missing when I picked up the grill yesterday. When I asked an employee about it he said they get thrown out by accident all the time. I wasn’t happy about that and he gave me a probe with a digital control box but it’s not the right one for my grill to plug into the front. I got online last night and did online chat with customer service and they sent an email to the store manager who is supposed to contact me.

Hopefully they will get you the right part.

It sounds like you got the display model, especially it being the last one and since it was already put together. Hopefully they'll make it right. I would ask for a discounted price if it's the display one. Normally they charge extra to assemble.

Actually, two different people at the store said they always come assembled. The same grill at Lowe's is $600 and I paid $499 on sale so I'm not worried about a discount.

Why on earth would they throw out the meat probes? And "by mistake"?? What, they open the box, find a bunch of stuff in it, and decide to toss some bits? Makes no sense to me.

Exactly my thoughts. Then to tell the customer that it happens all the time? Just ridiculous. I called Pit Boss and they are going to send me the probe that should have been with the grill. I looked up the meat thermometer that they gave me in it's place at the store and it costs $35. However, I want to be able to plug into the grill so I can monitor it on the app.

    Morning, mixers,

While those to the east may (or may not?) be in for a slight break, we seem to be lining up the next one for you. Sorry. ;)

Early watering, then hunkering. At least it did cool down to the low 50s overnight, so a good chance to pull the house temp down before it cooks back up.

However, I want to be able to plug into the grill so I can monitor it on the app.

Yeah, no chit!! Be kind of like buying a new car and they tossed the steering wheel out.... :-x

I hope Pit Boss also gives the store a good scolding.

I hope you get the correct probe quickly so you can try out your new grill/smoker.
