Well the guy just came and filled the oil tank, 150 gal. for $600. That's a 100% increase over the last year or so.
Well Today - today's plans are going to be strange, just waiting for the bands of heavy wind and rain to pass by . . . Definitely going to be concerned about the "King Tides" which will be high again today and maybe even tomorrow - which really affects where I live next to the Intercoastal. So going to keep hunker down, hoping not to lose any electricity (No Electricity, really need to get ab affordable battery charged inverter that last more then 8 hours) , and stay off the road. Thankfully, I got to my dialysis treatment yesterday - so don't have to worry about it until tomorrow. Hopefully the roads will be and stay clear of enough water & traffic by then so I can get to the facility.
The rest of the day will be - really more concerned about our other Florida friends on the West Coast and in Mid-State Florida which is where "Ian" is supposedly moving through the state. . . @JCinFLA, @classwife, @Flowersoul, @Burnie, @Bea-FL, @MacTechVpr, etc. (AND -those who have not checked in - Florida Hurricane Check-in ) So continually sending out . . . GOOD VIBES . . . And - Hoping everyone is staying and will be safe.
.

Hope you and all the Florida folks stay safe. It's just been dreary all day here.
I went in to work for a few hours to get some stuff done in peace. (we are closed today & tomorrow...playing Friday by ear)
A few minutes ago had the first bit of biggish wind here.
It's not coming at Tampa any more so no longer looking at the dirty side hitting us here, but this thing is rather large and a very slow mover.
Coming in around Sanibel / Cape Coral area at a 4
Then to wait and see if it cuts across the state or strolls North
That sucks.1.6 million people currently without power right now in Florida
Sounds good. I may mix a sample of it.I have a recipe. @Zazie with much thanks.
