Great that you got your data, even if not absolutely current!

Have you tried connecting the old drive to a different box? Depending on the nature of the crash, it all might be ok. My last catastrophe, a few years back was a fault on the MOBO (mother board), and old enough that repair/replacement wasn't a good option. But the drive was fine, so able to use it as a second drive, and pull everything off to the new one. Maybe?

We picked up my daughter’s car. We got there and they hadn’t replaced the locking lugs since the original key was gone. Then we get home and realize that the rear view mirror they installed was the wrong one. Now they have to order one and we’ll have to take it back to have it installed.

Good Morning all, my aching right hip is going bad fast. I woke up this morning at 3:30 with a lot of pain there but went back to sleep after finding the best position. At 4:20 I woke up again and the hip was even more painful - I could barely make it to the bathroom. It hasn't hurt like this before, and I am afraid it'll have to be replaced. I have to schedule an MRI and will do that next week, then hopefully I will get some answers. 39 here in Fabulous Las Vegas!

A nice cloudy day here, rain to commence shortly, unless it's snow. Probably none of that until tonight, and they're muttering about snow down to sea level in the next few days. Light, and won't stick, they say, and they're always right. Uh huh...

Happy Thanksgiving. Early this morning we took our cat Amber (in my profile pic) to an emergency vet clinic because she was having seizures and other issues. We unfortunately had to euthanize. Suspected brain issues like a tumor. Just a heartbreaking day. We had her for over 7 years. We are sad. We did go to the family Thanksgiving meal. At least we quit crying during the meal. I am so thankful for the people who work with animals and who sacrifice the holiday for our babies.

I'm so sorry! Nothing lasts.. but nothing is lost. Doesn't seem like any amount of time is ever enough, but those years are not lost. It's amazing how our furry children impact our lives in such a positive and profound way, and even impacting us through the internet!
