My main plan was to make it to work safely in the snow and accomplished that. Other than that I have just a few things to catch up on at work and then I'm off for ten days starting tomorrow. Today starts our sub zero temps. Wind chill was -15 when I got up and now it says -20. I don't plan on going anywhere tonight or tomorrow with the cold what it is. That's ok though since we are probably going to be busy tomorrow prepping food for Saturday when we have everyone over for Xmas.

Yesterday's high was, uh, 31, at 1 am... 21 atm, and the guess is that it might reach 25... but still dry, for another few hours, if they're right...

I don't they've had five customers come in since I got here before seven this morning. No one wants to be out in this stuff. One of our customers closed today and are closed until Tuesday. I wish we had. It wasn't bad coming in but I doubt we made enough today to pay the light bill and salaries.

Between yesterday and very early this morning we got about a foot of snow. Yay!!!
So what to do? LOL, take the snowmobiles out for a ride. Was awesome!!!
Was also tossin' snowballs for the Dog's, they love trying to find them in snow, they never do.
We'll have a white xmas. I am very Happy!!!

Decided to mix up some of the new FA flavors. All 5ml testers.

FA Strawberry Jam with one of my well steeped cake bases.
FA Pomegranate Extra - same as above.

FA Blueberry Muffin with one of my well steeped creamy bases.
FA Oatmeal Cookie - same as above.

FA Sea Buckthorn... thought about it, and being a total unknown, did it as a SFT.

Interesting, FA Blueberry Muffin smells like true "honest a goodness" blueberries. Not the usual DIY fakery that's turned me off to blueberry flavors in the past. I'm not surprised as Flavour Art is well known for their realism with fruits. I'll know for sure soon enough.

Just came back indoors. Brrrrr!!! Sure am happy I own winter gear rated for this kind of weather. Temps are dropping rapidly. Currently it's -25° F and heading to -40° F later today and into Friday and Saturday. This current Arctic blast will let up Sun/Mon then it's back to single digit lows and teens for highs.

Weather doesn't matter much, we still have to go out to take care of the horses (boarding and ours). Our stables are well heated. The horses all have nice thick winter coats and we blanket them for shorter than normal turnout periods. They do handle cold weather better than humans.

It's down to 11 right now and a low of at least 5. It's colder now than when I left for the hospital this morning at 8am. I'm all surgitized, for the third and, I hope, final time. I asked if he had the stainless steel surgical cables with him, jk.
