My oldest called and after getting the run around on her wrecked car, the insurance company has decided to total it and is giving her more than I thought she’d get. I’m excited for her to finally get into a newer car. She’s been driving that car since we bought it for her in high school. So now both kids will have bought their own first car and the oldest will go off of our vehicle insurance.

Getting ready to feed the critters then us. No plans for NY's eve other than just hanging out. We'll probably find a movie to watch on one of the streaming services. It's not my night to pick something. LOL, I'll probably fall asleep before the year rolls over to '23.

We obviously have no new year’s plan. I am almost positive I’ll be asleep way before midnight.

I was determined that I was going to get at least one thing I had planned to do while on vacation. By dumb luck it was 59 out today so I installed new light fixtures in the garage and washed the garage floor that was covered in crud from the snow. I had planned to work on our master bathroom while off but that’s not happening thanks to Covid.

I was thinking about having food delivered but my wife said her friend is bringing us some kind of soup for dinner. I was actually craving Chinese food which is the first time since I’ve been sick that I actually had an appetite. I hope that means that I’m getting better.

Nice try. Not like I needed more cookies. My youngest daughter made a giant batch of gingerbread cookies for me. They are really soft so easy to swallow with a sore throat.
