I'm still on no nic juice and will be for another couple of weeks, at least until I get my stitches out. As much as I miss the nicotine, I'm sure I'm going to have to take it easy, too. Going full steam on 8mg sub ohm probably isn't wise.
I just don’t know if it’s the nic or it’s still recovering from Covid. I really don’t see myself accomplishing much at work the next three days. I get tired just hanging around the house.

I'm glad you're feeling so much better but don't be surprised if the tiredness hangs on for a bit. That seems to be pretty common.

Good news about the car & raises too.

I am quite happy with this mix. It's easily another ADV for me. Earlier today I made a 60ml batch. The 10mls I originally mixed is nearly gone.

    OCICS.jpg

    Oatmeal Cookie Ice Cream Sandwich

    FA Oatmeal Cookie 2.75%
    FA Vanilla Cookie 0.5%
    FA Cookie 0.5%
    CAP Nut Muffin 0.75%
    SSA Ice Cream 2%
    WF Vanilla Cream Extra 1.25%
    FA Custard Premium 0.6%

The cookie base, first four flavors, on its own totally rocks!!! It's one of the best tasting cookies I've ever had.

The main cookie flavor is the oatmeal cookie. FA Vanilla Cookie is here strictly for the vanilla note and its buttery goodness. It's a very highly concentrated flavor. FA Cookie at 0.5% does a fine job of adding the baked crisp edges to the cookie. I wanted a lite nutty flavor for the oatmeal cookie. CAP Nut Muffin at 0.75% adds a very pleasant, but light, walnut-like nuttiness.

For the overall ice cream profile I wanted more of a vanilla custard ice cream versus your regular old run of the mill ice cream flavor. In creating my VCIC I needed the most neutral tasting ice cream flavor as a base. SSA Ice Cream delivers that in spades. A vanilla custard ice cream needs to be thick and silky yet decadent but not heavy. WF Vanilla Cream Extra fit the bill. It adds the silky thickness I was after and also contributes a nice vanilla note to the IC.

Custard and ice cream are basically created from the same three ingredients: milk, cream, and sugar. The major difference between the two is that a custard must also contain egg yolks. The addition of eggs gives a custard a smoother and creamier texture versus regular IC. FA Custard Premium at 0.6% added that and it's other pleasing notes to my IC base.

A fruit or two could easily be added to this recipe without mucking up the profile (depending). A chocolate flavor will turn it into a chocolate chip oatmeal cookie, a chocolate IC or both depending on how one individually perceives flavors.

In effect, this could be two different recipes. One being a cookie base and the other an IC base.

@Zazie can you please add this to your blog? TIA

I’m a little nervous about going back to work tomorrow not knowing how my energy levels will be.

If you don't feel well, and as long as you get tired quickly, you should stay at home.
You had quite strong symptoms when you were infected.
It is not completely abnormal symptoms immediately after covid to be quickly exhausted.
Remember that we get our health once.

If I could choose for you, it would be best if you were at home for the rest of the week.

If you tire easily that is your body telling you that you are not completely healed. Covid is not like any other illness.

If it was me, I would recuperate for the rest of this week. Feeling better with Covid does not always equal better.

One third of people who reported resolution of symptoms for at least two consecutive days subsequently reported a return of symptoms.

Thanks everyone for the advice. It is much appreciated. We are already short staffed even when everyone is there at work and I was already off for 11 days in a row with weekends and the extra day yesterday. I have my own work area in the shop and if I get tired then I’ll sit down at my desk. If I get too tired then I’ll tell my boss I need to leave.

Good morning random people! Today I go in for training to learn how to drive the right hand drive postal trucks. I have only one more shift, this Sunday, where I have to use my own vehicle. After that, I have to drive to the local hub, 15 minutes away, to pick up a preloaded truck.

Are you sure you can't spread Covid? I wouldn't go in no matter how short staffed they are.

Good morning random folks :) Have you any plans today?

Convince @hittman to take care of himself (& his "wifey") and stay home for another week, the only excuse would be that he NEEDS the pay check . . . Just Sayin'. . .

I felt kind of strange earlier and then again after vaping for a while. I’m wondering if I’ve been vaping so little the past week that my tolerance has gone down temporarily. Normally I can chain vape 6mg on a sub ohm tank with no adverse effects. Looks like I’m going to have to take it easy for a while.

Your blood oxygen levels are probably borderline. COVID is primarily a respiratory condition.

    good morning folks,

I'm looking for a fridge, I'm going to have one bigger than the one we had. You know, maybe some of my bottles are allowed to stay there by my wife....
Tomorrow I will mix stixx, 1/2 liter mixes, aged burley, a+, stokkeby, virginia.
Luckily I bought 120ml of them, NN has stopped selling a+ and aged burley.

With us, an infected person should take a negative test and stay at home for a couple of days afterwards. That is the recommendation.
But they speak two languages, those who organize the healthcare system say test test test, those who work for FHI, our CDC say testing is completely unnecessary.

If @hittman feels fit enough, maybe he can work a little isolated from the others, it's safe to wonder if he's still contagious.

    I have one of them.
The mutants we have now don't go as deep and dramatic as Alpha & Delta did, it's more upper respiratory. That said, there are many who become seriously ill with what we have now as well.

I'm no expert but following CDC recommendations and what my doctor said is to wait 5 days after testing positive. I actually waited six days. I'm normally in the shop at work by myself for 70-80% of the day anyway and I have been paying close attention to not get close to anyone just in case.

I do in fact need the pay check but that's not the only reason. My boss is a really good guy to work for but he needs me here right now. We have one of our drivers going in for surgery tomorrow which will pull a guy from inside to make deliveries and leave us even more short handed. I'll be ok. I'm doing pretty good so far. I came in, went through the hundreds of emails I missed while off and actually already got one machine repaired already. I just sat down for a short break and a snack of some almonds that I keep in one of my desk drawers.
