The problem I’ve had with RHD is turning, particularly turning left. It’s very easy to end up on the wrong side of the road,

They had me practice both left and right turns.

Had the same problem when I moved to America. Left turns at traffic lights were the worst. First few weeks I used to talk out loud to myself all the time, which lane I was in, which lane I was going to be in after a maneuver, etc. Kept me from slipping into autopilot and screwing up. Another thing that gave me fits was the position of traffic lights. In england the lights are at the near side of the junction, in the US they are at the far side of the junction.

I think that I will get used to the RHD, but switching to driving on the left side of the road would confuse the heck out of me.

Do you carry dog spray on your trips? I keep hearing stories about delivery drivers getting in trouble with dogs. There was one in my town last year where a postie had to climb on the roof of her truck to get away from a couple of loose dogs while she called for help.

I am. I still get winded kind of easily. As soon as I feel better I’m getting back into some sort of exercise routine.

I moved to the US from the UK 18 years ago, and I still occasionally go to the wrong side to get in the car

Yeah, I carry dog spray. I haven't had to use it yet, but have come close a couple of times. Trouble is that I don't know if that dog approaching me is friendly, full of bark, or a biter.

Hey all, what a miserable day - mostly. First I fell for someone's story on FB about their son dying and they wanted to give his PS5 away. Yeah, scam. They wanted $196 to ship it from Utah to Vegas. I wasn't happy and confessed to the wife what I'd done and she went and ordered me a digital (no disc drive) PS5 from Walmart. They have some PS exclusive games I really want to play. Other than that nothing has gone right - I tried to order groceries delivered and ordered curbside by accident and cancelled it. The wife totally screwed up her new I Phone and had to make several calls to reset it. Argh what a day. Lots of yelling lol.
