That’s cooler than I like it. Stay warm.I couldn't handle 48 inside I don't think, we keep it between 62 and 65 because the wife can't stand it warmer. I usually have a blanket on me and a wool beanie on, like right now.
Sweet and bland sounds awful to me.I tried the blackberry crumble recipe I found on ATF earlier. It’s no where near the dinner lady. The dinner lady is a little tart and kind of gritty for lack of a better word. The one I mixed is sweet and kind of bland.
It’s not super sweet but isn’t tart at all like the dinner lady one shot. I wouldn’t worry about it if the dinner lady concentrate was easier to get. I’ve only found it a couple places and shipping is expensive.Sweet and bland sounds awful to me.
But of course! I'm not one of those brats who expect to be able to lounge around in summer clothes midwinter (I have an uncle like that).I assume you dress warmly inside this time of year.
I read last night that it got down to -110 there. A record, I believe. In our North, it is -50 on the top of Mt. Washington.
Good luck. Do you run any space or radiant heaters? The power went out for about an hour and a half earlier. That was a trifle worrisome. It's 0 outside with a wind chill of -18 (an improvement on last night's -38, at least), and the temperature inside dropped to 44. I have a propane heater that I directed at the pipes most at risk (under the kitchen sink--which happens to be against the wall that's getting blasted by the wind) and set all the faucets to trickling. If the outage had lasted, I'd've been in trouble. Still could be if the power goes out again. Fingers are crossed.
Coldest recorded wind chill ever in US and Canada.I read last night that it got down to -110 there. A record, I believe.
