What a great experience I had tonight. Waaayyyy back in 1977 Atari came out with the first home video game system, the 2600 and I bought one at Christmas time '77. It was a lot of money - I think it was $179 at the time. It changed everything for me and I couldn't get enough of it, buying new games whenever I could.

Today I bought a disc off of Amazon for the Xbox called "Atari 50" and not only does it have many of the games (100) from that system but it talks about the history of the company and the gaming industry. Very interesting. I had a wonderful time reliving that time, which was 2 years before I started with the company I retired from with 41 years of service! I was working in a tire store and didn't make much money but I remember buying that system. Good times.

We're having a real storm, feels like an autumn storm so I haven't been able to go to bed yet, so it'll be a bit..... Good morning folks.

Just got back. Longer day at the hospital than I planned. Doctors appointment. Some test results weren't what we had hoped for. More tests. Got bunches of blood drawn (vampires!!!) and another MRI scan. Had to sit around after the blood draw and drink some gross hospital orange juice (YUCK!!!) and eat some stale crackers. Kinda tired now. Oh well.
I hope it's nothing serious and that it's something that's easy to fix. Appreciate you mate.
Take good care of yourself, someone has to taunt Rude, and it's better that you put your head to the punches than that I have to do it.

Yeah! I got my taxes done. I'm getting nearly $900 back. First time in many years that I'm getting a refund. It goes directly into my depleted savings account.
Awesome, nothing beats the feeling when we get back on the tax settlement. I’m happy for you !!
I'm going to start my work tomorrow, farm accounts, not that I have livestock outside Øsa, but we have a brilliant system in Norway that we can deduct expenses as if to keep everything in check.

The modem Spectrum sent me is worse than the one I own. I'm not going to bother with it.
When spectrum bought time Warner they sent us a new modem and our internet connection and WiFi was worse. We had technicians come to the house a couple times and ended up quitting them and went with Google Fiber.

I had an Atari 2600 also but don’t think I got it when they came out. I remember as a kid playing pac man with my uncle.

    Morning, mixers.

We might see a big yellow blob today. Maybe :) But the rain is said to be backing off. Clouds, well, maybe, maybe not!

But your speed is still much better?
Oh yeah. That's still great. It's just irksome that I was told I should get another modem when the one I have is better than what they offer.

Hilariously, my modem appears on their own list of recommended models. Theirs does not.

Not the most honest company but glad you have great speed now.

I'm doing a mixing marathon today. I've already got the bottles washed. I'm not planning on mixing any new recipes, as I haven't made a flavor order in a while. Just some sft's, some one shots, and a few of my favorites. I'll probably have to pause in a few hours, because I have a dental appointment this afternoon to get my tooth pulled. It was supposed to be done last week, but I got canceled due to the weather.
