I got a phone call from my daughter. She has been offered a full time job with A&M. It is the same lab that she worked at as a student. I guess they know she will show up and work, which is not necessarily a given these days. There was some benefit to her taking that minimum wage job, even though she had to get a second job in fast food as well. It doesn't pay as well as a private sector job, but she has great benefits and lots of state holidays off. I'm proud of her.
We had a young girl working part time while going to college doing accounting work. She told me today that she had to leave early to interview for an internship. She told someone else that she wasn’t coming back ever and cleaned out her desk. She left without one word to the boss. What a piece of work she was. She didn’t do much work while there anyway. I guess she told a coworker that she quit three other jobs with no warning like she did to us today. Her mom has a small welding school and is one of our customers. That’s going to be awkward the next time she comes in.
I just dumped a couple of the base mixes I just did. I have concerns over how dark they are and how old. All the bases weren’t mixed at the same time of course but the cheesecake base was the only one labeled with date and that was 5 years old. I dumped it.

I loaded a tank with a blackberry experiment and it’s not great. I am trying to come up with something close to the blackberry crumble one shot. The blackberry flavor in the one shot is a bright flavor with a tartness to it but also a little sweet. I’m just starting out and have more flavors to try. I’ve looked at some clone recipes but they just don’t look right.

Take another look at the clone recipes. Look for changes you can make to make the recipe look better for you. I do the same thing all the time to a lot of the recipes posted here.
Well, I cleaned some bottles this evening and have plans to make a cream base tomorrow. I have a couple ideas for one and will have to decide which one.
