Always does. For me anyway.Think I have DIY'ers writers block ATM.
It will pass.

What creamy Vanilla mix did you use.On Monday I did mix CAP Cookie Crumble with one of my well steeped creamy vanilla mixes.
I did three 5mls as follows . . . we're talking drops in each, so not much steep time is needed.
1.0% - has a very pleasant bakery note, a light cookie at 1%, nice flavor, nothing off
1.5% - takes on more of a cookie note, tastes is similar to a Danish butter cookie
2.5% - it tastes more like a cross between a Danish butter cookie and a sugar cookie
Could CAP CC be pushed further than 2.5%? Yes. In a mix I would not use it over 3%.
In a mix I would use it at 0.75% - 2.5%.
Buttery? There is a butter note but it is not what I would call a heavy one. It is not an in-your-face butter note. IMHO, and with all due respect, not anywhere near as much butter as SessionDrummer or Lynda Payne say there is. It has nowhere near as strong a butter note as FA Vanilla Cookie has - it's butter note literally jumps out and smacks you in the face. In the butter department it's not even close, FA VC has a very high butter note and CAP CC is lower (to maybe medium).
Sweetness is a few ticks above the mid-point (7 maybe 8 / using 0 - 10 scale). It's not overly sweet nor is it a sickly kind of sweet.
For a true cookie mix, CAP Cookie Crumble needs the help of another cookie flavor, to give it better definition as a cookie, as well as, a more complete cookie profile. FA Cookie would work well for this.
It is an excellent, and somewhat neutral, bakery flavor that could be used (will be, LOLz) with other bakery flavors and in a wide variety of mixes.
I like it!!!![]()
It takes a while but not that long. The online class I'm doing is 80 education hours. Sometimes it takes AWS a while to process applications so they allow you to turn it in up to six months ahead of time. After I finish the course then I'll need a new eye exam and a passport photo to turn in with it. I just want to have everything ready ahead of time.Long time away. Does it take that long to do the training?

Bookmarked. Ty.I don't think it's in @Zazie's blog. Variants of it are in the blog with different percentages. I have quite a few variations of it using different vanillas and creams.
Creamy Vanilla (basic)
FA Madagascar 2.5%
INW Shisha Vanilla 1.75%
FLV Cream 1%
FA Vienna Cream 0.75%
Steep time = 4 weeks 30mls or more / 5 or 10mls 2 - 3 weeks --- YMMV
It's just a nice creamy vanilla mix and one that's always in one of my squonkers and an RTA.
It also makes an exellent base for bakery, fruits, chocolates, yogurt, ice cream etc. etc.
Yup. My Creamy Custard Base is also an excellent base for much stuff.I don't think it's in @Zazie's blog. Variants of it are in the blog with different percentages. I have quite a few variations of it using different vanillas and creams.

I guess ya can’t have too many good bases.
Very true.Agree 101.3%
I put far more time into creating bases than anything else. I think that if a decent base is pleasing on its own just about any additional flavors will work with it.
Nothing much here. Watching Fire Country.I'm just relaxing tonight. DD2 gave me a very special and powerful gummy. Very nice. We're currently listening to tunes. Probably watch a movie soon.............
What is everyone else up to???
