Goodnight Fran. I did take the dog out but she was panting really bad again by the time we got home. I’ll have to make her take a shorter route when it’s above 76.

I swear it’s always something. The wife was complaining that the toilet on the first floor was filling slow so I watched it and she was right. So off I go to the hardware store and just finished replacing the fill valve and the flapper. Could I get just one night without a project? I still need to make my lunch and get the coffee ready for the morning. Then it’ll be about my bedtime.

Good morning. I woke in the middle of a dream. My right leg is still hurting from running the other day. I may have to stop running all together. My spider bites aren’t getting worse so I think I’m going to be ok.

My wife got her scan results yesterday and turns out she doesn’t have the bone lesion they thought they saw in the original X-ray but saw something else so she has to go see another doctor to discuss it. So once again we wait and hope it’s nothing serious.

Glad your bites are no worse and hope there’s nothing serious wrong with your wife. Always something. Take care of that leg.

    Morning, mixers.

Still pleasant temps, still no rain.

    Yep, hose detail :)

In about an half hour, I'll go out to harvest my dandelion crop.

    Dandelion soup for dinner?

    Nah, make wine :)

The boss hit me with a project first thing this morning when I went to turn in my labor report. They are planning on putting in a cylinder filling station and things are getting moved to this buuilding that my boss had built in the back of our rear lot years ago to store his boats and stuff. Well, the new owners are making him clear it out and we will be putting a bunch of rental equipment in there. The door is a large garage door with an opener. There's push buttons on the wall but the remote hasn't been working so he wanted me to figure it out. I think the receiver that's mounted separately on the opener is bad. I pressed the learn button but I still can't get the remote to work. He's going to have to call the door company to come and look at it.

He can’t expect you to know how to fix everything.

The neighbors gum tree got trimmed by the electric co. Maybe this will cut down on the amount of sticky balls that get all over my yard and the truck. Another good thing, I got the old weedeater started. When starting fluid didn't work, I figured it needed spark and sho'nuff it was the run switch. I really didn't want to have to buy a new one, this one is only 30yrs. old. The mower OTOH is a '78. :)
