There was another graduation today but I didn’t want to go in the rain. Heather told me they moved it inside and it’s crowded and loud. Geeezzz I would hate that more than the rain.
Normal shopping day would be Sunday morning. We went on Friday afternoon.
Good evening. I had a pretty good day at work today and got a lot done. My Blotto single coil started leaking suddenly when I left work to come home. That’s probably why I hadn’t been using it but forgot. Time to get out another top airflow rta.
I went to one for our niece a few weeks ago. They marched the kids across the stage really fast, they just stopped to shake hands with the head teacher and pick up their certificate. The traditional family screaming contests were banned, which mostly worked. Apparently the previous year it lasted for hours because of the screaming and each kid had to get a piece of paper signed by a family member acknowledging the new rules.
We didn't have those ceremonies in England. Last day of school we just left and threw our uniform caps and blazers in trash bins.
We had a high of 87 today and it's currently 86, but that is cold compared to the rest of the week and early next week. We will be in the 90s until Tuesday then we will be at 101. Summer is here.
At the one I went to last week it went pretty fast. They first thing the kids did was give the school bird a high five. Then shake hands and the certificate. Someone had to dress up as the bird though,

No way I can take your winter temps. I was in South Dakota one winter. I said, Get me back to Texas and I'll never complain about the heat again.
I had never gotten around to testing the Cap custard cake so last weekend I mixed 4% custard cake and 2% Inw raspberry. It’s actually pretty good already. I could see working this into more of a recipe and think it could go a few different ways.
