Still spring here, didn't make it to 70 yesterday, similar - or cooler - for the next couple days.

Just more of the usual, which, I suppose, can be a good thing.

I had never gotten around to testing the Cap custard cake so last weekend I mixed 4% custard cake and 2% Inw raspberry. It’s actually pretty good already. I could see working this into more of a recipe and think it could go a few different ways.

I’ve used the custard cake in some recipes. I like it.

Good morning, David. Looks like we’ll really cool down in a couple days. A lot of rain in our forecast but none for today.

Today I have to retire my oldest zlide. I did notice it leaking some yesterday but had other things on my mind. It had a half tank last night and this morning it’s empty.

I fired up a shiny Black Zenith for now. Not giving up on the zlide yet. I’ve never had one leak before so I’m going to give it a good cleaning and try it one more time.

Day 4 of VBS. Last day we will have a full hour. Because of the closing ceremony tomorrow, the kids will only have 30 minutes to finish their rosaries. I expect everyone will have finished their first one today.

WooHoo, Dd just told me they will be leaving around or a little after noon. That gives me most of this day. Now I need to figure out what I want to get done today.

They are getting ready to leave but haven’t hooked up the camper yet.

My plan is to collect my Dvarws and take them out to the deck with the natural light. I’ll see if I can coil the ones in need and wick the ones in need.
