My brain is stuck in the distant past right now. The first concert I ever saw was Gino Washington and the Ram Jam Band in the mid 60's. I was 15. Majorly exotic and exciting for me, living in a scruffy little industrial town in outer England. Gino was from America, probably the first Americans I ever saw in real life. They were popular in the UK back then, don't know how big they were in the US. Years later I still remembered the excitement of that concert and picked up one of their albums second hand. It was as good as I remembered it.

Tis funny. I only went to about 4 concerts in my life and one was for my daughter to see the Spice Girls, lol.

I am not a concert type because I hate to have people singing at the top of their voice into my ear and I can't hear the ones I went to the concert to see.

I got vape mail today. A limited edition box from lost vape with three disposables for review and my Sourcemore order of two dead rabbit solo rdas arrived already.
Much better than my no vape mail.

I assume you are referring to Ram Jam of Black Betty fame. That was their one song to make a dent. It lives on even today.
Just googled that. Different outfit from Geno Washington and the Ram Jam Band. They were an english soul band. A guy from the band heard Geno perform at an American air base in the UK and met him and then brought him over to the UK to be their singer. The band was named after an english pub called the Ram Jam Inn. Looks like they might have never played in the US.

Geno moved back to the US and I think he's still going. He set up a new backup team and called them the Ram Jam Band. Watched him on youtube, man is he old now.

Okay, you love CCR, I feel silly even asking because I'm certain I already know your answer, how about The Band? I got to see them during their last tour during the summer of '76. It was a totally awesome concert.
I saw Crosby Stills Nash & Young, The Band, & Jesse Colin Young (Youngbloods) at Varsity Stadium, Toronto 9-2-74. 49 yrs ago, next month.

I was sitting approx where the red arrow is.

    Morning, mixers.

Heat wave continues, Still claiming it will break on/after Thursday. We'll see.

Plan is to get off the property and have a long drive in the A/C car.

Yes, there is that! Many years back, at a Peter Paul and Mary concert in Long Beach, Ca, as they were getting ready to take off on "Puff", Yarrow gave an introduction. Along the lines of "we're going to do an old favorite, and you'll hear a little voice in your head saying 'sing, sing.' DON'T" Oddly, the crowd didn't :)
