Just one of those days where you're scheduled to work but nope just kidding you aren't. Just one of those days you got your whole grocery cart full and then they just announce over the intercom their system is down, cant ring anything up, and don't know when it's coming back. Ugh.. lol
I hope you have another store handy.

Well there's walmart across the road and now all those people in meijer are now there and meijer was crawling with people to start with. It's the middle of the week early in the day, i dont get why it was so busy. I'm waiting, and hoping patience will pay off.

I have to drive 45 minutes one way to the grocery store, so it's not like I can give up.

    Chocolate?

WF Red Velvet Cake doesn't have a chocolate note, per se, primarily because it isn't supposed to be a chocolate cake. It does however have a very pleasing cocoa note. The cocoa is noticeable, but it's on the lighter side, like the cake IRL.

WF RVC is not as sweet as some of the other cake flavors. It has a very mild tart note but it also has a mild sweetness. I would rate it's sweetness level at about a 4 to 4.5.

It can easily be made into a chocolate cake by adding WF Pudding (Milk Chocolate) [or with the addition of another chocolate flavor].

In fact, I'm dripping some WF RVC 3% + WF PMC 2% now. The pudding milk chocolate made it more of a chocolate cake. The red velvet cake notes are still present. PMC made it more creamy as well. The RVC cocoa note works nicely with the chocolate in PMC. They are rather tasty together.

In real life, a red velvet cake isn't supposed to taste like a chocolate cake.

What is the difference between a chocolate and red velvet?

Flavor is one of the main differences between chocolate and red velvet. Chocolate cake is flavored with cocoa powder, chocolate chips, or melted chocolate. On the other hand, though red velvet cake has cocoa powder that gives it a slightly chocolatey flavor, the buttermilk and vinegar add a tart edge making it different between the two.

IMO WF did a fine job with their red velvet cake. It does not taste like any of the other cake flavors we have in DIY. WF RVC is a really good cake flavor.

Hope that all makes sense!!!

I'm just finishing my one cup of coffee for the day. Was sitting on the porch earlier but the air quality is bad from the wildfires in Canada. The smell of smoke is heavy. Our state DNR issued an unhealthy AQI and advisory for us that goes through Monday. Oh well, whatcha gonna do...........

Nice comfy temps though, it's 63° and sunny with a nice breeze, might make it to 68° later. Starting tomorrow we warm up into the 80s again.

I don't think I'd ever trust a walmart or meijer employee to pick out produce

LOLz, I totally agree with you. Those folks are not the brightest or best.

I've watched the people stores hire to pick online orders up here and down in Milwaukee. Those people simply don't give a rats azz about selecting quality produce. They just grab whatever is on the top and toss it in the bin. I wouldn't have any of those folks pick anything for me..... EVER. No freakin' way!!!
