    It is getting super cold here and I worry about the horses. One of them was shivering today. Because of all the rain can't keep the blankets on when they get wet so hard to manage since they are 30 minutes away.

    I thought they had a barn.
    Yes, they have a barn but the former show horse gets anxiety when inside and their water bucket would freeze, don't have heated waterers in their stalls. If they are cold tomorrow, they will go inside. Part of the problem is we can't check on them often due to the distance. Of course, if there is thunder, they can't be stalled. They would freak out and break walls down and injure themselves.

    Pity about their problem with thunder, I was going to suggest you bring them in the house.

    we got about 8.5 inches of snow ( awesome )............ finally, yay
    used my bigger snowblower, cleared it all with ease...........
    snow is still falling.........

    starting saturday......... a lovely blast of refreshing Arctic Air, sending temps to well below zero..........
    as in -20°F/-28.8°C without a wind chill, predicted to be near -40° with wind chill

    city streets are fine, DPW up this way has their .... together

    winter.......... :thumbs:
