    Hi Fran :)

I did a facetime with the Fam earlier, they did get some snow.

But nothing like down this way. All told, I would say we got about 14 inches, maybe more, here in the city. I didn't measure it.

There are still flurries coming down, lake effect snow courtesy of Lake Michigan.
Might end up with another 1-2 inches by the time this ends.

My neighbors to the west are heading out to go skiing shortly at one of the ski places.
Glad you got at least some up North.

He no doubt has something on under the hoodie.

He's a BIG burly guy. LOL

    Like an empty head?

Maybe. Years past, I've seen him shoveling in just a t-shirt and shorts.

I've told him he's likely related to the old Neanderthal line of people. He just laughs at me when he sees me all bundled up. Jokingly calls me a wimp. And yes, compared to him, I am.

This was a very (VERY) heavy wet snow. That's due to my proximity to Lake Michigan, the lake temps are still warm.

When I was out earlier, there were many tree branches that came down. Some of them pretty large too. Amazing that none fell on anyone's homes, or on any of the cars parked on the street.

No power outages around here. Which totally surprises me, all things considered.

Oh well, it could be worse.

We have several outages in the State due to the wind. The outages look to be all North of us. The wind was supposed to be worse to the North and the coast.

There is a flood warning for Hampton Beach and coastal roads are closed till after high tide.
I just caught some news that it's still raining on Hampton Beach and that sure will help the flooding from the ocean.

Snow finally stopped. Just got done with some minor cleanup.

The sidewalks are slick. Put some pet safe ice melt on the sidewalk. Don't want to see anyone slipping/falling.

The little kids next door are out having a blast in the snow. They pelted me with snowballs. I gently threw a couple their way. Their Mom threw one at me, gal has a strong arm. I returned fire, hittin' her in the shoulder. Fun times!!!

We are looking at highs in the 20s and lows in the single digits for this weekend. A small chance of light snow tomorrow night. I hope it doesn't snow as I have to work tomorrow and Monday, MLK day. It's gonna be miserable work.
    Better dress warm.

    Somewhere between here and there
I didn’t think we were supposed to get more snow but it’s been snowing all morning lightly. The driveway has a light covering. No reason to shovel that little bit besides it’s still coming down.
