Morning, mixers.

More rain, although still light, and temps down so a bit more snow in the hills. They're actually claiming 1 - 2' of that, hope it happens!!

Good morning! I need to mix some more nik salt for my pods. I've been trying to vape more like a pipe and not inhale as much. My lungs get a bit irritated in the winter from the dry heat. I had a rc kinglet land right next to me and let me watch him 2 feet away. He knew my camera was in the house. lol

In 2022 we got a fair bit of snow. On the yearly average we have gotten up-to 12-18" - 2023/2024 season, so far we've not seen any. Meanwhile, the kid in me has been a little disappointed.

That's cool. I never heard of a kinglet, had to google it. Guess they don't hang out in Indiana.

Over the years I've tried inhaling into my mouth and then out without taking it down into my lungs. It works just fine, Unfortunately, while I'm thinking about it I do it, but as soon as I stop thinking about it I'm back to sucking it all the way down. Good luck.

At the elevation of our place, we usually get a snow fall or two, but used to get a lot in the mountains. Currently only about half the snow pack we "should" have, so looks grim for the summer...

Over the years (decades) the accumulation has progressively been more sparse. As those times come and go, recent years have set the stage to all the climactic research is proving to be on-par.

Last Summer for us on the West Coast, was considerably drier than the previous, so yes, this Summer may set a new national average of what's to come the norm. On that note, forest fires in areas that are generally not a concern, will be...I think.

Our home is out in the countryside. We're pretty much in a full-on >take care of ourselves< lifestyle in the middle of nowhere. For the past couple years, a big concern has been forest litter under the trees surrounding us. My focus this summer, to have all that fuel pushed back and cleaned up.

I just took notice to your location. We are not far (as the crow flies) apart.
