Anyone here use Norton security? I've been a fan since I got Norton Utilities on a floppy.

Recently they started pushing new products. I got a free 60 day trial of an advanced computer cleanup add-on and forgot to cancel so I'm stuck for a year. It isn't very useful. It includes disk defrag which used to be part of the regular package. Today they came out with an advanced driver updater, which also used to be part of the regular package. That's another $60 a year. Norton isn't cheap these days.

I also have Malwarebytes. Starting to wonder if I really need Norton.

Call Norton tomorrow. They might refund you the $60. I recently forgot to cancel a subscription service, GoodRx Gold, and I got a refund.

I had limited experience with Norton since my boss had it years ago on his computer and would ask for my help with it. I didn’t really care for it from what I saw.

I use malwarebytes because they saved a laptop of mine from a nasty virus a few years ago. We put norton on our desktop a long time ago and it turned it into a slug. lol

Well, the wind yesterday wasen't that bad at all. This is finally a sunny day and 51 they say. The next two will be partly sunny and that's a big bonus.
The wind was blowing pretty heavy here, power went out a couple times. It's supposed to get real nice for a few days. :)

Dump Norton. Been a slug and resource hog ever since Norton sold it back in the dark ages. And it's usually not a good idea to run two AV programs at the same time, anyway.

Uh, I think this one's for Teri ;)

Hi All. I want to make a new tobacco recipe. Just discovered i'm out of vanilla.
Haven't bought for some time. TBH I can't even remember what I used last.
I need some recommendations on good Vanillas plz.

    Hey Bro!!!

Vanilla's huh?............. I have nearly all of them. They range from very bright, to medium, to darker/earthy vanillas. All are really good. I always have several different vanilla/cream mixes going.

FA Madagascar (Vanilla Classic) - a true Madagascar vanilla, smooth, all-arounder, medium
FA Vanilla Bourbon - a darker, more earthy tasting vanilla (not an alcohol flavor!)
INW Shisha Vanilla - a sweeter vanilla, brighter as well
SSA Borneo Vanilla - bright vanilla and has some sweetness
VTA Vanilla Classic - a nice smooth medium vanilla, not bright/not dark/not earthy
FA Tahity Vanilla - sweeter vanilla, bright with light almond + cherry notes
Holy Vanilla v1 or v2 - very bright vanilla
SSA Madagascar Vanilla - a bright to medium Madagascar
FW French Vanilla - a medium to darker vanilla, unique
FLV Vanilla Bean - tasty vanilla, not what I would call "bean", bright to medium
SSA Classic Vanilla - bright to medium vanilla
TPA/TFA Madagascar Bourbon Vanilla - darker, not what I would call a Madagascar, very different tasting vs FA Bourbon Vanilla
INW Vanilla Bourbon TDM - very earthy vanilla, strong, can be unruly in a mix
INW Vanilla Classic TDM - leans more into a Madagascar, also can be unruly in a mix
CAP French Vanilla - smooth, leans brighter

The Medicine Flower (MF) vanillas are all really good. True vanilla flavors. They are more expensive. Also very highly concentrated. The MF's require a solid 6-8 week steep time.

Of the ones mentioned........ you can't go wrong with INW Shisha Vanilla, FA Madagascar, FA Vanilla Bourbon and SSA Borneo Vanilla.

There are also several vanilla cream flavors that might be tasty in a tobacco mix. Some of those have a prominent vanilla note, and some less so. All of the vanilla/cream flavors lean brighter. Lemme know if you want a list of those too???

    Hope that helps!!!
