Garage door guy came round this afternoon to finish up. It got delayed a bit because of the heat. The A/C at the parts warehouse broke down and two workers there got heat stroke. My door doesn't have a motor so I asked him how much that would cost. He said he does a lot of installs for Lowes and he gets to take home motors he replaces. When he finds a good one he reconditions it. He will only charge me $40 for the motor plus $160 labor. I'm on the list.
He used to work for a national garage door company, now he's independent. He said he would have charged me 3 or 4 times as much with his old company, plus they were told to recommend unnecessary work and so forth. Like instead of repairing my door he would have had to tell me I needed a new door. Now he has all 5 stars on Next Door and gets more work than he can handle and makes way more money. Really cool guy.

I was getting behind with my mixing. Set myself a goal of mixing one bottle a night. Did 3 100ml bottles of regulars followed by a batch of base. Two regulars left to mix, starting tonight. Then I can coast for while, maybe mix some new recipes.
While ago I set it up so I have a 50ml and a 100ml for each flavor. Once the 100 is empty I mix another. By the time I finish the 50 the 100 will be good and steeped.
Cleared out a bunch of flavors last week that I don't use any more. I'm low on quite a few so it's time for a raid on Bull City.
Finished messing around with strawberry, decided to go with 3% each of 3 different strawberries. So last night I mixed 50mls with 2% SSA Whipped Cream which is my new favorite cream, and 1% Shisha Vanilla. I wasn't going to add the vanilla but decided to at the last moment on an impulse. I was afraid the strawberry taste might be a little fragile and didn't want to overwhelm it. See what happens. I can drop the vanilla next time if it's too much. People say SSA is very strong but 2% whipped cream works well for me.

Good morning random folks. Yesterday was rather busy for me. I got up and drove over an hour for a zoom training session that could've been held locally in a lot less time then drove home. I took a nap and woke up in time for church then afterwards mom and I went to Denton to eat with dd, bf, and his family. We went in mom's "new" jeep which drives like one of the old postal trucks. I don't like it, but she does. I told her that when we go places from now on, it's in my truck. I came home and fell asleep while checking ECF posts which is why I didn't post last night. Today I have work. They are guessing a high of 98, very pleasant to deliver packages in. <sarcasm>

Glad you cooled down some.
Weather is talking about possible tornados here later this afternoon. I want that forecast to go away.
I need to get pictures taken for the next review. Besides that I need to do a little cleanup and move some review samples to the basement.
