When 82 is usually the low, and it's now the high, that's a cold wave. I took advantage of the cooler temp and cloud cover, despite the 74% humidity, to walk in the park today. I made 2.3 miles. The humidity was bad but there was a breeze that helped keep things under control.

We’re only going to hit 80 today which is much better than the 90’s we’ve been having. I’m going to take the dog for a walk.

82 might be a cold wave to you but to me it's hot.

That's terrible. We had 85 but it's cooling down now and 81.
