Good morning David. :) Glad you're still cool. Hopefully the rain will come soon.

There has been some mumbling about that. Of course, when they say "slight chance of light showers" they're probably talking about garden hoses... no real rain in the guess for at least another week. Unless, of course, they got it wrong...

Oh she's so cute. I hope she'll be ok.
Thanks but unfortunately it was just bad news. She’ll need major surgery. She has a tumor in her spleen so that needs to go.

Gallbladder is also forming a solid “thing” that’s is causing her biliary pain.

Both need to come out. Thank god that I have pet insurance! Of course i will pay for it in full then get reimbursed by her insurance company Figo Pet insurance.

I’m a bit stunned about the spleen but she told me it’s not that uncommon same with gallbladder and bile ducts.

The most important thing is that they need to come out before they rupture.

Sorry for the ramble!!

I'm so very sorry to hear this, Sara. At least both organs can be removed completely. That's got to improve the chances of complete recovery.

Very lucky both were caught and like you said both can be removed without any long term serious side effects.

I just get pretty nervous when she needs anesthesia.

It’ll be fine. My new mantra for her.

Howdy random folks. I had a short but wonderful lunch with dd. I'm so glad to have seen her, even if it was just for a little while. I just got back from my walk. I did better than yesterday, but only walked 1 1/3 miles, not my usual 1 3/4.

Howdy Terry. :) Glad you got to visit with your Dd. I got my usual 1 1/2 mile today.
