I’m really aggravated. We had a new Larson storm door installed a few months ago and kept getting water in from the top so had the installer come back and adjust it. I opened the door this morning and there was water inside again. I called Lowe’s and asked that they send out a different installer to look at it. Our last door was falling apart but didn’t leak a drop. They might have to replace the door if they can’t figure it out.

I can see why you're aggravated. That really sucks.

We had the family over today for early Christmas. Instead of cooking we ordered Pizza from a local upmarket pizza joint. GGD loved her wand, she carried it around the whole time they were here. Made up spells to turn the dogs into monkeys and stuff. Her new brother is on the verge of walking. He can stand for a while now with something to hold onto and just learned to say mum and dad.

GS just got home from a 2 year deployment around China while the ship is moored in Japan for a break. He's been stationed in Japan before and is hoping for another deployment there starting next year. Turns out he's a big fan of Halo which is my new game. First time I've had a chance to shoot the breeze about Halo since I got it. He even had videos of his favorite battles on his phone. I do miss DL, not many video game fans on ECF.

I believe he just dropped out. The last post I saw from him mentioned some health issues.

I did end up with a project. The wife is hyper sensitive to noise that I barely hear and had mentioned a couple times that when the furnace first turns on before the blower kicks in that it sounds like a car running. I’ve gone down a couple times and stood in front of the furnace for the entire cycle and hear nothing. However, I do hear it when we are in the living room. Something must be vibrating. I measured upstairs then took the measurements downstairs and there’s nothing there besides ductwork. Everything seems tight with hangers but I did put a piece of foam between the duct and stud at one place. Now I wait to see if we hear it again.
