She brought me in a couple while they were still warm. They were good. Cookies are my favorite too.
I'm just about ready to start my evening. I got most of the housework done, but mopping the floors and folding clothes will have to wait a bit. In a few minutes, I'll leave to pick up mom.

My wife informed me that one of my presents has slow shipped and was supposed to be here yesterday but hasn’t arrived yet. The tracking she was given says it was delivered somewhere in New York and we’re in Missouri.

I have no idea what it is but just know she ordered it from Target. She ordered in plenty of time for it to be delivered and have a feeling it’s lost by ups. I hate how some companies ship via ups then transfer the package to USPS. I checked my account and it looks like it never made the transfer.
Wife makes it with crumbled walnuts. I love it, but she doesn't like it so it's hard to get her to make it.
My favorite cake ever was one my mother used to make at Christmas. She called it German Fruit Cake, it was in a recipe book she had. Cherries and the usual stuff plus it had lumps of marzipan added to the dough. And icing on top. What a sugar high. I've searched for a recipe over the years but no luck so far.
