Good morning. It’s a whopping eight degrees outside. The snow has stopped and we aren’t going to reach 20 degrees until Thursday. I’ll have to do one more snow clearing today. Depending on how I feel, I may do the next door neighbors driveway.

Good morning, hitt.:) You are colder than us this morning. Looks like your days are colder also. We have low 20's.

    Morning, mixers.

Not as soggy for now, just light rain, low 40s :) and the rain is said to be tapering off as it moves north. Might have some sun breaks, even, and the guess is for more of those the next few days.

Yeah, we'll take the soggy instead of what a lot of you are getting!

Evidently a snow plow must have run through our neighborhood late last night. They did one pass which is better than nothing but left a big pile in front of my driveway. My neighbor next door has his sister living with them and she left her car on the road so the plow couldn’t properly clear the road. There’s plenty of space in their driveway so she could have easily moved it before the storm.

I guess today is my complaining day. My mother in law called and said that my father in law is supposed to be released today and evidently is expecting us to go get him. That’s fine but my brother in law that lives with them has done no snow removal so I don’t know how we’re supposed to get him in the house with a steep slanted driveway and a foot of snow. I’m going to have to go out and clear our driveway and the pile that the plow left so we can get out. I’m going to be upset if I have to park on the side street covered in snow beside my in laws house and go clear their driveway before we have to go get him. The brother said something to my wife last night after I went to bed about not knowing how to start the snowblower. It doesn’t help matters that it’s 14 and windy.

We got 8". And the plow left a 2' ridge of snow at the top of the driveway. I got the deck and vehicles cleared and a narrow path up the driveway so I can go out later to clear out the ridge at the top. Have to do that soon because it's made up of chunks and it will turn hard as rock if I leave it.

The storm moved north at the last minute just far enough to put us in the heavy snow band, but not far enough to put us in the ice band.

Looking on the bright side, I guess it's better to be the guy who picks up the slack for lazy jerks than to be the lazy jerk yourself.

It will be a tad harder for her to move it now.

I don't blame you a bit for complaining.
