Haven't taken my old truck out since the storm. It's rear wheel drive and doesn't do well on slippery roads.

Good thinking.

Being retired, I don't need to go out. although only black ice here atm. Worst case, my old truck is a 4x4 and I actually have chains for all 4 wheels.

    Sounds like you'll be ready if you have to go somewhere.

    I actually think black ice is the most dangerous, especially when it's patchy. Idiots will drive 75mph, because that's their God given right to go at least the speed limit, if not more. They then hit one of the patches of black ice and spin out, taking out not only themselves, but other motorists, as well.
