I miss my bedroom tv. I was hoping the forum would be busier but I guess not.
Had a good day anyway. We played cards for awhile which was fun.
Heather did all the cooking.,She’s DD’s oldest and a very good cook.

Grand-daughter took us out for Mother's Day. Down to Nashville Indiana which is a artsy small town with lots of restaurants. She's fanatically anti vape so we couldn't vape at her place or in the car going to Nashville. I took a bottle of nic lozenges.

She's in the army reserve. She was due to be deployed this summer but just got pregnant. This is the second time she avoided a deployment that way. After a pregnancy she can't be deployed for another year. After she becomes eligible again she just has 6 months left on her 10 years, so barring a war she has no chance of being deployed. She was due to go to Germany a few years back and that deployment was cancelled at the last minute due to some planning change. Not bad, 10 years without a single deployment. She made a lot of money and got a lot of benefits.

Got my tax return sorted out. I went over to tax lady's office. She checked my ID.ME PIN and it was the same as the one on my return. She called the help desk and it is still not accepting calls to a human. Then she decided to check my last rejection and see if there was an error code or some other clue and discovered my return was marked accepted. So after I updated my PIN it took a week for the new number to make its way the part of the system that validates returns.

The IRS help desk system seems to have got overwhelmed and shut down.

    Hope that's working.
It didn’t. I ended up having to pull an engine and generator to replace part of the generator. Five hours later I’m almost finished. Probably another 45 minutes to finish tomorrow. I’m totally exhausted. I’m not doing anything tonight.
