Manufactured homes and the smaller ones are just sheds. It's a great neighborhood, for the most part.Very nice. What are all those buildings?

Not sure what it's called but pretty sure it's one of those places were all homes are a replica of one another. Basically corporations buy plots of lands and then put on 100 or so of the same houses to sell / rent them out at a profit.
Do you mean cookie cutter? That's up north what they are called, except my plan is all manufactured housing. So many different styles throughout. Those type of homes are called "cracker box houses". They first became popular after WWII. I grew up in one.
They are not mobile. Not a single one. Kindly step out of the conversation. Are you now over in the main forum to cause trouble? I wouldn't if I were you.Not sure what it's called but pretty sure it's one of those places were all homes are a replica of one another. Wasn't sure about this but as she just said they're manufactured / mobile ones. So that would be called a trailer park in the USA I believe.
Basically companies buy land, drop 100 premade homes on them and then upsell that or rent it out to people for a profit. Like blackrock etc does...
Its been a while since @DavidOck has posted. Has anyone heard from him?
Hope it's a short stay, David. And forward progress only! That's an order! Thanks
Hanging in. Out of hospital into rehab, not sure for how long.
Yes, reading, not much posting. But (slowly) on the mend.
Cookie cutter is the term I'm familiar with. When I was a kid we didn't have town homes, just row homes.Do you mean cookie cutter? That's up north what they are called, except my plan is all manufactured housing. So many different styles throughout.
Glad to hear you're on the mend. Thanks

I was trying to figure out what those metal towers in the background were, until I realised they were chimes hanging off your deck. Here is my peace and haven....coffee and books to go along with it. Growing up in the UK most houses were row type. The middle class got to live in semi detached houses. You had to be pretty well off to live in a detached house.Cookie cutter is the term I'm familiar with. When I was a kid we didn't have town homes, just row homes.
