Went out today to stock-up on groceries and to top off the gas in the vehicle. Best to get that stuff done while temps were still in the teens.

Good late afternoon random folks. My old large Christmas tree wasn't working, not a single light would light up, so I tossed it and ordered a new tree. The first one didn't arrive after a week and then I got an email from Amazon stating that it was going to be another week and still may not arrive. I canceled that order and ordered another which arrived today. I've got it up and mostly decorated, but of course, Misty saw it as a giant new cat tree. I had bought a cat deterrent spray which did nothing to stop her. I had just put my breakable ornaments on top, but it looks like I'll have to remove them all together. I got a bunch of plastic ornaments from my mother. I've been reading, and one suggestion was to put up a second tree that the cat is allowed to climb. I do have a smaller tree, so I'll try that

Given a choice between the decorated tree with lights plus cool hanging ornament toys to play with versus a plain tree I bet Misty will still prefer playing with the decorated tree. Much fun versus not so much fun. LOL

I took my jeep in after having a leak on the garage floor last weekend. They said they didn’t find anything but tonight I got home and could smell a leak when I pulled in the garage. It’s not pouring out or anything but it’s definitely leaking so I called the shop I use and am taking it back Tuesday. I told him I got underneath and the cross bar under the engine was wet. I’m not sure if it’s the water pump or what. The leak last weekend looked like antifreeze but to me some looked kinda like oil. Maybe a bearing is going out in the pump and it’s both. However, it’s not making any noise that I can tell. It’s a head scratcher for sure.

She has tried out her tree, but it is too light and toppled over with her weight. Tomorrow I'll get one of my tent weights to make the base sturdier. Her tree will have ornaments but the lights won't be plugged in as she likes to chew on them.

Good morning random folks. I think the tree for Misty is going to work out. The tent weight is giving it more stability and I put some shatterproof ornaments on it. I still have to watch her and keep her out of the main tree, and redirect her to hers.
