Good evening. I’m actually feeling a little bored today. Yesterday was so busy that I don’t know what to do with myself.

Had our family Christmas dinner today and got a bonus.
There was a problem with my new home security system. I got the home base installed, plus the cameras, but I couldn't figure out how to sync the cameras with the home base. When someone came to the door we got a beep and we could see them on the phone but since the cameras weren't connected to the home base nothing was saved. I tried a few times without any luck. Daughter was over and she had a go after dinner. Took her a couple of hours but she got it all working.
There's still a bunch of fancy stuff to set up. The AI can recognise faces. You can tell it not to react when me or the wife show up, and to ignore our dogs. And you can blank out certain areas in the field of view, like the neighbor's driveway.
Made me feel a bit old, having to ask the kids to help with the new tech. I'm still the king of PC's though.
I have two cameras by the front and back doors. Still got 2 to mount once we decide where to put them. Also have dash cams to install in our vehicles.

I caught Misty trying to catch the jingle bell on her collar. The way she'd jump and twist in midair is funny.
We ran some stuff over to my mother in law and had to go pick up some new light bulbs for the living room. I didn’t have dimmable ones. Got home and the mugs I ordered for my daughter were on the porch. They were horrible looking. They looked like a five year old painted them. I’m returning them for a refund.

Tomorrow is our Christmas so it's good there will be a little snow left. Weather says Sunday night into Monday afternoon it will rain. If they are right we will have no snow left.........again.
Good morning. I really slept in today. No plans yet. It’s foggy and warm again today. It’s supposed to get much colder tomorrow and Monday.
Almost noon and only 19. Weather says 27 for the day................maybe we'll get that but........
