is that a piece of o-ring you cut to plug the second hole? I've got an assortment of o-rings that may work for mine.

Yep, an o-ring, couldnt tell you the size tho... I too have a big assorted box of orings, just tried em till one fit.

also worth mentioning ... i had some 70/30 juice in the tank and for the hell of it , i left the plug out n tiped it over and no juice leaked from wick or fill hole... I must say, these genesis type tanks are THEE best things ive vaped out of and ive tried them all!

Im converting all my mods to these setups...I got in on a coop for the new smoktech vivi tanks, got em for like five bucks each..lol and a new smoktech telescopic mod for 25$ , also a custom machined scubagen mini300, and a coop for a hybrid 300 that is awesome, go check em out in the coop section... the 300 spartan hybrid mod is still open for orders, and its awesome, the prototype is a magnetic switch,magnetic telescopic tube with built in pyrex glass genesis and dan built the prototype with a spartan mask for the cap, lol pretty sweet.

If everyone who tries the mesh keeps getting such great results, DFW should just toss in a few mesh sheets and a couple plugs to the kit and call it a "Genesis Hybrid RA tank"

At that price point they would need to hire more people to keep up with the order$. (-:

Well I can't wait for the SS Mesh but it seems like the more I vape with the coil the better it gets.
First 1/2 day it did not produce much vapor and did not wick well.
1.5 days later it wicks really well and produces more vapor than any of my other setups {Ato-miser, DIY Drippers and normal attys}. I have some wick soaking in Juice to see if it cuts down the break in time.
I tried two coils with quad wick and three wraps each {2.1Ohm each} and it was great till it failed, lol, I'll try it again with only double wick.

Well just got my SS mesh today, it would work great if the tank was a 55 gal drum, the mesh they sent was about 4 wires per s/inch not 400

Hey guys, so I just wanted to share that I ordered one of these this morning and I just got a shipping e-mail from them. Do they get them out the same day? I thought they build them and then send them out a few days after. I just wanted to see if there was a mistake or if this has happened to anyone else.

I got my dispatch email, the day after ordering . . . but I'm in the UK so the
time difference probably accounts for that.

Believe I read somewhere, that these are ' in stock ' and there isn't a waiting list
which was one of the attractions for me, lists can get a bit frustrating.

Mine was a 3 or 4 day delay in shipping. I also got the tracking number the day after I ordered. Well worth the wait and money though. Lol

Woohoo! Just got my ratank today and must say i am very impressed with the ease of use. Took no more than three minutes to put together and another two to fill. (No syringe) my one gripe is that it doesnt come with a plug for the fill hole, but it turns out a qtip works very well for that problem!
Flavor is kinda meh, vapor is quite good right from the get go. No hotspots, four wraps and it looks awesome on my black vtube.

Also, not much th but as i understand ss mesh will fix both problems im having. Is this correct?

It just needs a little break in time, and TH comes from juice and voltage. I don't need mesh.

The vapor th and flavor is amazing with ss mesh, ive been running the same wick and coil since i got mine and theres never an off taste, switching flavors and dry burning/cleaning the coil is so conveinient with these when running the mesh

Hey guys I've had my ra tank for over a week and no matter what I try I can't get it to wick for anything. I am wrapping a 3.0 ohm coil pulling the wire close so it won't dry burn. I'm using silica that dfwvapor sells. I am also using bobas bounty, I've tried to add distilled water and still no luck. I've resorted to just dripping with it which works great but pointless with a tank system. I've watched everything ra tank related on YouTube, one suggested to add an airhole if you are getting dry hits, that didn't help. Any suggestions at all would be helpful.

i've only had mine for less than a day but it seems tilting it down now and then helps the wicking a lot.

After a week of messing with it I just ordered the stainless steel mesh and 30ft of wire on ebay. I really hope it helps lol
