You'd just need to get some auto batts and some tubing from the aquarium store. I wondered about the exhale too, but the guy that actually did it said he didn't have any problem with it.I guess it was the juice because I swapped out that juice with my all day vape and didn't get a nic buzz. It took quite awhile for the old juice flavor to go away completely. What's strange is I use both those juices in my Penelope with rayon or German silica and don't get a nic buzz so maybe it was a combination of the juice and the atty.
The DIY juice I was using was
FW strawberry - no nic buzz
FA strawberry - nic buzz
Same atty - AGA-T, same nic level, same build.
I wish I could figure out a way to vape with a full face helmet.
So you don't think you're getting buzzed from the flavor? I know FA's a lot stronger than FW, and sometimes they spike flavoring with alcohol (got that a few weeks back from LA Piña Colada).

I don't know cindy. The FA strawberry doesn't give me a buzz in any other atty but then I don't use micro coils in my other attys except the kayfun clone. I guess I could try the FA strawberry in the kayfun clone and see if I get a buzz.
I have been using Rayon, Tencel, Ramie, Tencel Nepps and Hemp for the last several months now. In my drippers I like the nepps for a little bed on the deck and I use the rayon through the coils. The nepps reminds me of easter bunny fluff poop LOL Dan over at twisted build carries all of these and they are fully prepared already. Great prices and he ships pretty quick also.

I've been following this thread off and on.. and asked him about it, and he was like saying all the same stuff most guys in here was saying, about all the pluses and such and said he'd show me wicking with it, by setting up a dual micro with rayon on my rda... So I let him go for it..
So far totally digging this stuff.. he even gave me a 10 inch or so strip of the stuff and I've been rewicking the rest of my rda's with much the same result..
So, just wanted to thank all the folks that participated in this thread and did the work to get here.. Mucho appreciated!!!

I've not had too much of a problem with my Kayfuns but JeremyR, the OP, always tell people who talk about taste that they're using too much rayon. I know I look at my Kayfun builds and feel a bit surprised that such a small quantity of rayon works and that it isn't flooding. I'm using just about the same amount as cotton (just a bit more) but it doesn't puff up and expand like cotton so seems sparse in comparison in any of my builds.Any buddy using this with a Kayfun? How are you wicking it? I'm asking cause I have had good success so far with RM2 Cyclone Aqua and fogger V4 but with my Kayfun I'm getting a strange taste

Now, now. Everybody stop making fun of me. Those were the old-school auto batts. SI Volt batts (stick/VGO/Spinners) don't fire unintentionally.
...not that I like auto batts.

I took delivery of a 1200 foot box of CC yesterday (big box!) and tried it out on a few atty/mod combinations. Short form results :
- Kayfun/Provari : really easy to wick, and the taste is more pronounced than cotton.
- Taifun/mech (Atmizoo Lab) : yay at last it's stopped leaking! I was having a heck of a time with airhole leaks on this atty, but no problem now. Didn't replace the coil either.
- Tobh/mech (Nemesis clone) : used three contrasting flavours, RA - chocolate - RY4 to see how long the old flavour persisted after being burned off (30 second burns with battery replacement after each blast) - answer : nil! The RA was gone when switching to chocolate, and when it was soaked with RY4 it was tobacco all the way.
- Squape/Vamo : odd one this. Loaded with RA, it vapes nicely, but after a while inspecting it revealed that the juice isn't uniformly spread along the wick, instead each side of the coil was paler than the ends near the juice channel, seems the Squape doesn't pull the juice through quite as easily. Still working well however.

Terry, I don't think fogging will be a problem, the negative pressure and breeze inside the helmet should clear it pretty fast. From experience with rayon on auto batteries you will need a Spinner style battery for it to work. A fixed voltage auto just isn't capable of vaporizing with the feed rate of rayon. I've tried T3s, original T3, on auto and it isn't very good at all. Take that same T3 and put it on a Spinner, cranked up to over four volts and it's great!
Just take a trip to Home Despot and get some clear tubing to fit the mouthpiece and you'd be good to go!
Rebuilt an Aga T with rayon, that was hard work. In order to get the wick into the juice well I poked it bit by bit through the coil from the top with a needle, teasing off bits of excess rayon and sometimes pulling the whole wick out in the process, argggh. It does vape very well, the flavour is strong (may be the juice, it was some menthol I had lying around). Tougher than other attys to wick though. I've rebuilt it in the past with cotton, and that is easier to poke into the juice well from the coil end.

What is it that you really want to see dear?
If the right density isn't used it doesn't work the same. Too much rayon it will gunk up the coil and/or you may taste it. not enough the coil will start to dry hit. Too much you'll gunk in a few days the right amount you have the beautiful coils pictured here after two weeks. I'm over 80 mls vg on mine and still looks excellent.
This was from the beginning of the thread. Wick from my vertical oddy - rinsed to see the wick.
5 days straight on the rayon this week if anything it seems to be wicking even faster. And from the start taking much more power than I was able to do with the degummed hemp.
Remove the wick from my vertical at 6 Days to throw a horizontal in. There is no scorching of the wick only staining from running high voltage. 1.7 ohm at 6 volts.

Chalice with E7 squonker....15 watts and 1.5 ohm coil. Significantly more vapour than the wool edition. No wet t shirt taste at all. Would say better flavour production that wool or eko and on par with mesh. Have the same liquid in the E7 and a HellFire and side by side struggling to tell the difference. Which is a statement for me.
Have also popped a rayon wick i to a Rose but need to play with that as just not getting anything like the results I would expect with eko and the 1 ohm coil in there on a Paps X.

Oh to clarify I bought 2 types of wool claiming to be 100% rayon but on delivery both were 100% cotton wool.
