The Magma would be a ..... to drill the airholes out, they curve up from the outside. The airholes sit under your coils, it's a feature of the rda. Again, not a deal breaker, I love mine. The post holes I would consider, but I'm set on 30ga. I'm not a real cloud chaser or anything, and like my vape at around an ohm. With 30ga I had a bit of difficulty installing my coils, but I chalk that up to my first attempt with the Magma. I'll have an easier time of it next time, I hope.

Just a warning - I jammed mine in my Fogger coils yesterday. The coils got gunked up last night (they shouldn't have, they were dry burned that morning), and this morning when I tried to pull out the rayon it would only come out taking the coils with it LOL Ok, recoil time! So taste was still great, but having to recoil was a pita!

You can over do the thickness but it's pretty hard. Just pull it from both ends to stretch it Amanda. That will shrink it down so you can pull it out.. Or just tear it in half.. Well now you can try a little larger diameter coil.

It seems there is a perfect density that will make the coil last the longest. I noticed my last coil gunked up sooner when I went really heavy with it. But it still performed well and tasted great. I will wick a little lighter.

I think it's just right when the wick is broken in for a day and it looks like a continuation of the coil. Nearly flush but not losing contact with the coil.

Remember guys this thread is less than 4 weeks old.

My primary use was alway on external wrapped coils. When it broke in I would just all a little more around the outside to keep a light full contact with the coil. Using this in regular coils is somewhat newer to me as I had been doing Vcore's for 8 months straight. I still think an external wrapped vertical coil is better than horizontal.

New mech (Silver Dragon from J2P) and Vicious Ant Cyclone AFC, and clone 30w with Rose atty...All stuffed with Tencel and kicking like I never smoked! The Ant has marvelous air, and 0.9 ohm coil is ruining me. Vaping is my new all time attention. Can't believe it can be SO GOOD! 1000 likes by tonight...Congrats JR!

Had to go back to cotton. My lungs were aching like crazy and every time I vaped I'd cough (plus I was oversleeping). In some ways it was a similar experience as when I vape juices with PG, though not nearly as intense. Installed cotton and the coughing stopped. I don't know if I'm doing something wrong or if there is something in this particular stain of rayon that I am allergic to. I am guessing it's an allergy/sensitivity. Perhaps I will try boiling it.

Good to know, I am in the process of switching everything over to rayon. I'll keep an eye on it. I had a problem with ramie where I started itching all over and I had to quit it, I think it was an allergy. Did you rinse it in distilled water first, then let it dry? I haven't yet, but I was thinking of doing this for peace of mind. Hope everything works out ok.

No rinsing, but I am contemplating boiling. I did a little research and it's possible to find you are allergic to Rayon from one company but not from another because each company can use cellulose from different plants or trees.

This CC is pretty great, amazed you can vape it perfectly dry before getting anything close to a dry hit. That said, I also like that you can tell much more readily that you're wick is getting dry just by the taste. Cotton would sneak up on me and even after using it for the past year or so, and I would get burnt, nasty hits from time to time. Still haven't had one with the CC.

Sorry to hear about your allergy, caged. Is it the tencel or the CC? Hope you find an alternative that works for you. You sure it wasn't your juice?

It was the CC. I should have Tencel on Monday along with other fibers such as Carbonized Bamboo.
