So, started by selecting a generous stalk of Tencel, cutting a thread to tie around middle. If you loop around tweezers and grasp the short end of the thread, the loop will tie it tight as it slips over. Done twice. Now you're a surgeon!

Thread trough coil,

...and continue to pull DOUBLED at the knot through the coil CAREFULLY!

I've found that the loop end doesn't wick as good as the splayed end, so cut that in the trim process. Wick into channels and juice it. Rose owners, this ain't on YouTube!

Started reading this thread last night, around 11. This morning, on my way to work, I stopped by Sally's and got me a big ole box of CC.
Got to work, and pulled the cotton off my Reo and jammed some CC in there, tight...maybe too tight but proceeded to vape it.

:toast::toast::toast: For JeremyR!

When this nic coma passes ill post more.

The specific density seems to have to do a lot with the atomizer. In a rba where the wicks are supported you can go thinner and maximize performance with out it falling loose in the coil. In some drippers where the wick cascades to the deck a little more density is needed to keep the wick in contact with the top ends of the coil.

The flashi is vaping a dream @ 22w , full cellucotton rayon including tank wicks.

Wohoooo! Welcome and glad you like it.

Well I typically don't 'stuff it in but thread it in like cotton only use 2-3 times more. With cellucotton it seems closer to 2 times the coil size is good. If you boil and dry it it will be fluffier and then it looks like 3 times as big.

It's so easy to wick with it. No fuss no muss.

Be careful not to use too much, it doesn't need to be REALLY or even tooooo tight. The first one I made I did make it TIGHT, it vaped good but a few hours later it wasn't as good as it was in the beginning. So I removed that wick and wicked a new one but this time didn't make it as thick and tight, made it just thick enough that it rubbed against the coils but with just a tiny bit of resistance against the coils .. I've vaped 12 ml through it since then and it's perfect.

Yep, just rewicked it, not even 30 minutes after I first wicked it. Good thing I've got 500' of this stuff.
I pinched a bit, rolled it slightly and threaded it through the coil. Soaked it with some juice and gave it a little pull to see if it was moving freely or snug, and it appeared to be just right.
A few minutes in and its Nic coma x2. Really going to have to order lower mg nic if I intend to continue using CC as my wick of choice

Yeah it's very forgiving.

I don't roll my wick tight only the part im starting through the coil. Then lightly twist both ends to continue to slide it through. You want to be able to slide it back and forth in the coil with a little resistance but not a lot. I'm in the habit of sliding it while dry. Then soaking, waiting a few minutes, and that first hit is always amazing

My man @Steam Head is sending me some of this stuff to try out.

I have read allot of this thread but I could not ascertain with certainty if this media requires boiling or not?

I may just dip into Sally and pick me up a box.

Cool, I have pretty much run out of reasons to make videos. May have to throw one down if I like this stuff better than KGD on my bottom fed RBAs vaping exclusively UFNB :)

Similar experience here. I've found that 3x rayon, compared to cotton, is overkill for my standard dripping configuration (IGO-S, twisted Kanthal minicoil around 1 ohm)

Empirically, 1.5x to 2x max is A-OK for me; even same quantity as cotton works better than cotton itself... Or hemp, I have to admit.

Only still experiencing 'muted' flavors, compared to hemp, no clues as to why - tried tightly/mid/lightly packed rayon wicks so far, and still flavor doesn't take off.

Considering that I've simply replaced hemp with rayon in a perfectly working configuration, I'm a bit puzzled.. Suggestions appreciated.

Heck, and I've thought that hemp was THE final word for wicks... Live, and learn :D

I don't think anyone is saying you HAVE to cram the stuff in there. What I believe we are saying is that if you do, it's STILL gonna wick like a fiend, which is pretty incredible.

True, nobody is saying you have to cram it in there.
However, if you're used to the "less is more" strategy from cotton, you will get hot spots using the same amount of Rayon.
When i used my viscose the first time, juiced it up i was suprised by how much it shrank. It ended up not touching the whole coil in there anymore and i got hot spots.
So yeah, dont have to cram it in there, but you do have to use a bit more than with cotton, for sure.

Have you tried moving your coil "down" a little lower .. lowering the coil usually gives more flavor (but less throat hit).

Hey supe! Your gonna be the ultimate test for the rayon cellucotton. I think your gonna be Amazed by the performance and ease of use.

No It doesn't need washing or boiling, it's pure right out of the box. My Cellucotton from Sally's is fresh.

It doesn't hurt it if you do boil or rinse. it drys pretty quickly on a towel. Just don't disturb the natural form of it in the processing. Not sure it would matter but I like to keep the fibers straight and uniform. It comes out a little fluffier when dry if you boil or wash and dry it. It's doesn't compress like cotton it fluffs back out itself. If you have any concerns a boiling or rinsing would remove any potential impurities. No one else here has boiled it before try tried it and had great reviews to follow.

Use double the amount as you would cotton and you could try double your tail length.

Looking forward to seeing how you like it.!

Remember that pic I posted in your thread of the bottle rayon, well this is it. After trying everything else and went back to the rayon I was blown away.

(Of course as you can see, I paraphrased the title after your legendary thread.) ;)

Yeah, I just wanted to test this stuff to the max, why I literally packed this W with CC. I had to push on the coil and pull pretty firmly on the CC to get it through. I thought for sure it was going to choke, but it vapes beautifully. I didn't go as heavy on the Magma with the stuff and it's no slouch, either.

Use at least double the amount as cotton and double your tail length or more.

I make mine 1.5 - 2 times the thickness I use to make the sterile cotton ones .. however I don't make my tails longer, I still have my tail length short, about 1/8" sticking out each side of the coil .. and it's been vaping great that way.

I kno Cuando. I was just too anxious to try it that I just stuffed it in and didnt really pay attention. Now that I have a better wick in there, im giving good trial run. So far so good, not really noticing much more vapor on a 1/16th 28g .9ohm coil. But the flavor is much cleaner, and definitely more noticeable Nic hit.

I'll try some in my other Reo and Kayfun later tonight.
